This is his first game back from injury. . . cut him some slack. . . he's spent much of the last 2 years struggling with a knee ligament injury and had 2 knee operations since he joined Villa

He was dwelling on the ball too long today like any technical player trying to find his touch after a long period out injured. . . defenders not used to passing from the back would immediately hoof the ball if they just return from injury and have no rhythm and confidence.

Don't be too bold. The philosophy is still intact. I won't expect an attacking football like the 2nd half of the game against Swansea. The team is not too strong, they've lost 4 out of their last 5 games.
