Recently I noticed some an influx of threads talking about virginity with several back and forths. Some claiming virginity makes a woman complete, for some, it's a woman's dignity while some believe it'll make your man love you more. The latter might be true as I have seen a young man that was so excited to find out his wife was a virgin that he had to give it as a testimony in church the Sunday after their wedding. That notwithstanding, as a lady, if you expect a man to love you because you're a virgin, a fatal heartbreak is lurking around the corner. There are several men out there dumping the virgins they deflowered.

One thing I'm not comfortable with is the way some of you continually come up with threads to talk about this overflogged issue. I also don't understand why non virgins seem to have high blood pressure at the sight of threads on virginity. What's wrong with avoiding such threads instead of arguing endlessly?

Then to the virgins, what are you trying to prove? What's the point in discussing the importance of virginity to a non virgin? or are you trying to prove that you're better off? Abeg leave matter for Matthias

its a baseless thread if you fail to understand the virgin threads are created for the young boys and girls out there telling them the benefit of abstinence from sex till marriage.

Most people who created virgin threads are non-virgins, that's hypocrisy thou. Fvck it who cares. Just because I did wrong doesn't mean I will have to encourage others to do so.

Sometimes its not always about this generation but the next, I reckon we have 18 to 21 age range members here from lots of thread created by them.

Everybody has his/her own definition of virginity.
So even if she has it in the ass from Monday-Sunday and still claims virgin. Let her be.
It is her virginity, not yours.

Falconey, I don't think it's true to say that most people who creates virgin threads are non virgins. One can be a virgin and still doesn't think virginity is of any significant value.

Some are virgins not coz they care about chastity or preserving themselves for their hubby but coz they're frightened by the painful thought of having sex for the first time, others coz they haven't had a reliable and trustworthy lover to let him have his way. Some could be coz they aren't mentally and emotionally stable to start engaging in sex. The reasons are seamless.

To assume that anyone who doesn't think virginity is something to take pride of are the ones creating non virgins threads and non-virgins themselves is homogenous to saying that anyone who isn't homophobic or who defend gay rights is gay themselves. It might interest you to know that there are virgins who don't even want to get married in their lifetime. The thing with us Nigerians is mistaking opinion for personal experience and also thinking that everyone is even caught out for marriage.
