Jorgan,

How much are you paying?

@Mansamoussa,

I actually do not understand that route you are talking of. Your friend should be the best person to give you info since he introduced you to it.

However, the little I know about practising as a doctor is irrespective of the location (regional or metro), you can't practice except you are registered either partially or full with the medical board.

To get regional area deployment as noted by you, I am sure you must pass at least stage one of the exam.

@Stff,

Will ask someone who finished from your school and same department tomorrow how be got positive assessment, God willing.

Sorry for sounding Pestering Sir, methinks introducing myself as a Dr is complicating this scenario! FORGET THE Doctor PART...the real question is: How feasible is it to enter Oz as a Skilled Immigrant (Primary Healthcare Worker)under the DAMA programme!
Just anything u think would do Sir!

Hey guys, I think the CBN only lifted foreign currency cash deposit. Other restrictions still remain.
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by erictack203(m): 5:09pm On Jan 12, 2016
Your documents were sent to Pretoria. The Regional Office for Lagos and Abuja is Kenya. If you check the document properly, you will find Lagos underneath the Kenya.

That does not mean your docs went to Kenya. The database they are using for operation is from under Nairobi Jurisdiction. For Example, an Army Brigade Headquarters in Benin Covers for 5 Divisions. Police Zone 5 covers 5 States Police HQ, where 5 Commissioners reports to the AIG.

I happened to be the AIG in Nairobi grin.

Nor worry joor. Your docs will get to Pretoo b4 the end of the week.

CBN lifted the ban, deposits of foreign currencies will be lodged at individual accounts and will be reported to CBN. There will be much flow of foreign currencies within the next few weeks whereby bank enable banks to have enough currencies in their foreign reserve to be able to perform foreign transactions for customers.

This means, they will soon have dollars to give to travellers for BTA, Form A transactions as well as form M transactions at their own rates. Meaning the bank will sell to you.

That's why if you goto the Bank, at their walk in screen, you will see- "We buy......." "we Sell".

So things go soon better!

VETASSESS discriminates against schools from some countries using some sort of ranking. Most 4 year bachelor degrees from Nigeria will not be equated to their Australian bachelors. They only equate 4 year degrees from very few select Nigerian schools e.g, UI, OAU etc, to theirs. UNIBEN isn't even among, as i know a graduate of the school who had a negative assessment with VETASSESS . I doubt your school qualifies. And if you are assessing for an occupation where you need to have an Australian BSc equivalent, VETASSESS will not give a positive assessment.

The only way around this, in your case, will be to go for an occupation that requires a lower qualification or put in your MSc (if you have) and re-evaluate for same occupation you did. Also check if they can take away some years from your job experience to make up for the degree. Heard some assessing bodies do this.

Jackson Igwebuike arrived in Australia in July on a student visa

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-10-19/nigerian-man-in-court-over-$10m-ice-haul-in-canberra/6865408

People like Jackson Whatever would make it difficult for students with genuine study intention to successfully procure visa. Useless people such as this would ruin the chances for others. I'm proudly Nigerian but anuofia such as this makes me say I'm African whenever I get asked about my country of origin and of course we know Africa isn't a country.

Why would the action of one person make you always deny your state of origin?

The guy's action should be condemned. However, I do not see it as standing in the way of others. It is an isolated case, so the action of one can't be used to judge many. It becomes a problem if "Nigerians" are caught on a weekly basis for transporting illicit drugs.

The locals and Kiwis do the deals more especially ICE.

I have never at anytime think twice about it. I am from Nigeria is always the answer.
