Yes we are celebrating him!
You are not from Delta
His a hero
His only crime was the agitation for reasons control.
He did not steal more than your governor.
I hear you. Maybe you wake up on a bad side . agitation for reasons control only in Oghara. The only thing my home town benefited from his government was the fencing of primary school and nothing more. Yes my governor steal and my ex governor is James Onanefe Ibori.

Sadly, they are. These are potential crooks trying to loot harder than their convict and jailbird hero,

It's a vicious circle..

Was that the reason he was jailed in the UK? God please help our youths the truth to know!
YES!!! was he the only governor to travel to the UK? Why was he singled out?
The UK have always taken sides with the north and west against we in the south south. That's the truth! All the idle billionaires in the north that invest their money in the UK why have they not been arrested and prosecuted?
That's the problem with we Africans we exhult the white man and see him as perfect.
Eg : look at the number of civilians killed by American presidents in the name of looking for sadam hussan weapons of mass destruction which turned out to be a hoax! There were no weapons yet thousands killed! Has anyone charged bush to the Hague? But if it were an African leader they would ask for his head including us Africans!
Stop seeing the white man and there decisions as perfect!

Nigerians can be so dishonest with themselves it's sickening.
WHICH GOVERNOR FOR 1999 TO 2007 DID NOT STEAL?
Let's try and be honest for once.
Have u been to delta state? IBORI did quite a lot as governor.
THE REASON HE WAS SINGLED OUT WAS HIS FIGHT FOR RESOURCE CONTROL!

So you are a honest person abi Because other governors has stolen before now makes it a right for every governor to steal

What a pity.
Re: Ibori Set To Return From UK Prison by kurukusese: 9:11am On Jan 15, 2016
It is high time Nigerian stopped glorifying mediocrities. An individual confiscated funds meant for a whole state for constructing good roads, hospitals and drugs and various life saving measures. thereby inadvertently causing untold hardship and unimaginable deaths through accident due to bad roads, death in hospital due to lack of drugs etc. A man siphoned all this money and here we are glorifying him and planning a rousing welcome party for him. God! where is thy Face. May God open our eyes in this country.

Nigerians and hypocrisy! Most of you here saying some people from delta state are blinded of one sort or the other for supporting ibori are as guilty as those people you accuse in the sense that they are several ibori's in your states and localities being celebrated by your kind and your people, the only difference between those you celebrated and ibori is that the latter was convicted and jailed! undecided

How could his fight for resource control led to his arrest in UK . May God help these youths of this great Nation .
The conspiracy between the British govt and the political elite in the north and sometimes the west is far above your thinking.

I say you need your head examined. No matter the tribe or alien planet he emerged from, he is a convicted criminal. No sane person celebrates criminals.

I'll say the same if he were Yoruba. Heck! Bode George is a classical example of such a person in the SW. He's celebrated and loved by no other than PDP thieves.
Yet u celebrate obj and buhari. Examine your own head first.

in prison time is counted by day and night so if someone is sentenced to 12yrs in prison it literally means you will be spending 6yrs if you go by our days out side.

What's wrong is to single one person out just because he spoke up for his people.

Efcc may pick him up but the same court judges that declared him innocent are still around..the judiciary is the present shame of our nation. If you steal a goat they will send you to 20 years imprisonment without option of any fine ..but when you steal billions and you can do trade by batter- your man in judiciary will play his own part & you will be declared innocent. I think PMB should do something about the judiciary..that sector of our Govt is stinking terribly

its a big shame to see and here our youths celebrating a common thief, am from delta state. its truth that our people have been so deprived of good governace and they do not know anything about good leadership. that was why they voted blindly for gej because he is their son not minding his incompetency. is really a shame.
