I think it's a bug. Stick with windows 10, but use Google chrome, when you need to log unto nairaland.

try updating ur drivers, especially ur network adapters

It's a problem with Microsoft Edge browser on windows 10.
Hence using chrome or others but Edge.

Only nairaland? Did you try reinstalling your browser or another browser entirely? 'cause it might be old cache/cookies

Good day, i decided to install windows 10 today and i downloaded a 7.8mb file(Get windows10.exe) from microsoft website, i clicked to install it but for about 2 hours download progress is still just 2%, is there a way i can fast track this or get an already downloaded version to install.

Windows 10 currently have issues with battery life in some laptops which Microsoft and Intel are working to fix. Unless you're not concerned about battery life, I'll advice you wait

Be warned it's a 3gb file. If download cost is an issue, look for iso file.

Go to your BIOS screen and change boot sequence to usb, put thumb pen in and follow screen prompts

Start your laptop(press and hold F2), while on bios screen, navigate to boot sequence, make sure boot from usb is at the top(click apply and exit)
Insert thumb pen, restart laptop and os load should commence, follow prompts.
NB: After all is loaded, change boot sequence back from your bios screen

Is "thumb pen" same as flash drive? If yes should I copy the file I downloaded to the "thumb pen" then follow the above process...

Yes thumb pen is flash drive. Where is your downloaded file ?

It won't work. You have to make it Bootable. Search & Download "Rufus" software then use it to burn the iso file into the flash drive

If he burnt an iso file unto his hard disk, It would still work, if he transfers back to pen drive.

Yeah. ...it's all about making it Bootable. He could have just installed the iso like an application tho to save stress. Just that i don't want to start another lecture on how to mount an iso file.

Lol. I understand your point. I was only stating the obvious, for people that know. But might easily confuse others!!!

Error message!!! Use the other installation disc that says 64-bit. When you insert it windows set up will start automatically

No solution yet. Hopefully soon a patch would be released.
