9ice is okay, oga. Everyone does not have to sing like Asa. Did all Grammy awardees in the past sing like Asa? If 9ice were an American; he could have won the Grammy. Gongo Aso was enough to give him that. Why was he invited to perform at Nelson Mandela's birthday?
Besides; have you heard 9ice's collaboration with Asa? Have you heared songs like Life Drama, Ade Ori, Show Some Love, etc? Aren't those songs decent enough?
There are artistes who sing arguably better than Asa, but are not recognized e.g. Beautiful Nubia.
So don't compare artistes. We don' t need a monopoly of music. Interests differ.
