Dotmax53 is he a graduate? I'm asking because in some situation, inferiority complex set in after marriage just because the woman is a graduate and he's not.
Tell your sister to think about it o! I'm not saying it's bad but marriage has so many challenges. what causes most misunderstanding in marriage is financial issue. Does your sister have a job yet? Anyways, may be the guy has prospects that's why.

Firstly, If I were in your shoe I would also be furious over it because their reasoning and status are not the same and that could create a misunderstanding between them, Secondly, I wouldn't blame her becos most of Nigerians men now are not ready to settle down base on the hardship of the country and that get ladies frustrated because they are aging. In addition, she knows what is the best for her.

Please i and my parents needs your contributions..My 28 years old sister who is a fresh graduate from the University summoned my parents and I that she got a fiance who was ready for marriage already...We were at least excited and joyously ask her to invite her fiance for proper introduction..Lastweek sunday was the said date,so we joyously went ahead in preparation on his arrival,preparing delicious meals to appease his arrival...He finally arrived and my dad asked him his occupation, what i heard was so disappointing...a SHOE MAKER for a Medicine graduate...i had to pretend as if notting seems wrong until the said guy departed..We summoned my Sister again and she said '' I love him and must marry him no matter what'' ...

Was she charmed or what??

This issue is really drilling the heart of my parents and i.
Can we help this situation or we just allow her to suit herself??

I hope you know a SHOE MAKER is very different from a COBBLER?? Shoe makers make shoes and we have a few of them here in Nigeria while we have millions of cobblers. I have a friend who is into shoe making and he makes millions on a monthly basis. The shoes you see celebrities wear are made by SHOE MAKERS. Even the shoe you wear was made by a shoe maker. There is nothing wrong with being a shoe maker. People go to school just to learn to make clothing or footwear. would you have preferred if he had told you guys he is a fashion designer? To me, a shoe maker is also a fashion designer. Bro... Your sister wasn't stupid to have chosen him.... let her live her life happily.

I once heard a guy who repairs DSTV but will dress to one of the new generation bank on suit and told them he works with MTN, and whenever he's coming to the bank he will go and buy Mr. BiggS and give the BM the head of operations this he did for months until he sweet talked the lady. to cut the long story short he impregnated the lady b4 the lady got to know that he is just a DSTV repairer.

What is wrong with a shoe maker? Are you not wearing shoes? Is he not making money from the job?
Every profession is a prosperous one once the practitioner is good at what he is doing.

If your sister is happy with him, what is your problem with that?
Your sister is a graduate of medicine. Which means she is of sound mind.
Why are you people having a misfiling over her choice?
The essence of all relationships between man and woman is to be happy with each other .
