Due to all the afore mentioned circumstances SANDF incorrectly labeled frigates as corvettes because were acquired under a project meant for corvettes. However, valour is indeed a frigate and not a corvette. Look at the size and the armament.

Nigerian navy has published plans to refit Aradu frigate and buy guided missile fast attack crafts this 2016, we are in a buying mood and the whole world can see that. SAN will have a problem when our missile vessels are put to sea later this 2016.
