If a School shuts down its no the end of the road, call Pretoria Students department, tell them about the development and they will request you send them fresh CoEs by email and invalidate your application an pu it on a pulse.

If the Sch site or email is not going, contact TPS (Tuition Fee Protection Services and Student Ombudsman). They will assist you with the process of returning your fees, you may also need an assistance of an Australian Migration Agent.

While you do this, apply for another SVP provider for same program or closely related program, do a fresh SOP, pay th fees and send CoEs to Pretoria, quoting your VLN number, dob and full name and passport number.

TPS will assist in returning your fees and you will be fine, life is a challenge, if you share your problems, ppl will help you, no one is Unique over the other, everyone is Unique in their own way and we are all special in the eyes of God.

You can actually apply for PR without the help of any agent, start by visiting engineersaustralia.org.au all the information you need is there, to assess your degree cert & you will have to write a well detail CDR (competency demonstration report).
As it stands now
Age = 30points, the moment you click 33 it will reduce to 25points.
IELTS = 0points.
Overseas recognize degree = 15points
Work experience (if you meet 3years by the assessing body = 5points
With these your points ain't enough for PR, register for IELTS & aim for at least 7 in each band which is 10points, if your point is up to 60 then you are good to go.

Here is your score, Age 30, Education 15( that is if its assessed as equal to Aussie degree, else you get less).Ielts 0( cos you are yet to do it), Experience 5, state nomination 5. That is a total of 55 points. You can get addition 10 or 20 points if you do ielts and able to get all 7 or 8 respectively.

Please bro I applied for 572 on 27th November 2015 but my course started on the 12th of January can I email Pretoria asking to put my application on hold so I can send them a new eCOE

Request for an extension or delay start letter from your School, your CoEs are still Valid. Once you get the letter email them to Pretoria.

Hello House,

I reside in Lagos. I want to take IELTS in February. Someone suggest It s better if I take the test in in Ibadan ( less crowdy compared with Lagos). How true is this? Is there any difference in the real sense?

Why subject yourself to stress. The crowd has nothing to do with the exam.

In my opinion, I don't think it is worth the stress to travel to Ibadan. You can get your desired score in Lagos.

You can take the test in Lagos. No point going to Ib.

Good evening house,
I have been reading from this forum for a while now, and got interested in the success stories of our fellow Nigerians (names witheld).
Please i will like someone in this forum to advice me on how to apply for a PR. since major jobs in australia requires a PR.
I am a chemical engineering grad (b-eng), 4 yrs work experience, 32yrs old, not written IELTS yet.
Anyone with useful info and were and how to go about a PR will be helpful.

Thanks for the reply man I'm grateful. However I have already my School asking them to issue me with a new eCOE today. In any case I will send another email to them right now asking for an extension letter or delay start letter. Thanks a tonne knowing that my CoE is still valid is a big plus to this hybP I'm experiencing right now. Also should I just email Pretoria with an attachment of the letter and my personal detail(vln, passport no. Etc) correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks again bro!
