I was thinking, I could put that £50 - £60 I save weekly on buying lunch, etc from work into a Cash ISA every week. That's been my honest intention but then I found myself shopping at Boots embarassed embarassed Which isn't such a bad thing oh! As they had this deal going on last week or so at the Canary Branch - Spend £50 or more and get £10 worth of Advantage points on your Boots Card. I managed to get up to £52 worth of points and guess what? I found that bike my daughter's been asking for since the beginning of this year. £35. Now that's come in quite handy for me. Don't ask me what I'll be getting the others - it's a completely different story! cool cool

That's very good. Beans is also a good base meal.

You will get more creative as the time goes on and buying lunch will eventually become a once in a while treat for you .

You are trying with the breakfast o .me I have something a bit more filling which is always mostly unsweetened oats and a fruit/veg though. Some days I have 0% Greek yoghurt and a bannana, some days 1 whole meal toast boiled eggs and a tomato but I must chop.

I work out in the mornings now and have very light dinners so I would just faint if I did not have a somewhat filling breakfast .also means I snack less. Snacking was my greatest issue.

Lol @ trying with the breakfast! I've moved on from the plain porridge thingy as I feel it's way too heavy for me. I now try to detox every morning with the lime and lemon thingy. Only problem is, after drinking so much water, I end up urinating like a tap every 30 mins for the next 2 hours. grin grin It's terrible when the trains are delayed but I guess (according to my friend), I nor dey hear word. So the next time you see a lady flying the barrier at London Bridge station trying to get to the loo, you'll know it'll probably be Efe...lol!

Greek yoghurt - isn't that very fattening? shocked

How do you manage to work out in the mornings? Sunrise doesn't happen until 8:00 am ish! cry cry

Lol! You are right. In and out, but I will try very hard this coming new year to curb the habit. I think I'm nearly there anyway. I just need to put pen to paper all my outlays (sigh).

Oh, I'm starting out something new - you might do this for your kids when they're older....I've told my teenage sons I'll pay them £20 per "A" grade and for my oldest, £40 per "A" grade for his A-level subjects.

But then decided to up the stakes - £100 per "A" grade for the A-level subjects, and £50 per "A" grade for the others. No reward for B's and less. Those who get A's will get their money this Christmas. A trip to the £1 shop / pound savers for those who didn't hit the mark. grin grin

I'm planning to make this a frequent occurrence per grade card results received. What d'you think?

I have the 0% fat one cos it has less calories and a lot of protein. Those are days when I have done a very intense work out in the morning.

I wake up at 4.45( sounds sad I know ) so I can have about an hr to my self. I mostly do indoor work outs and do a variety of strength training, kickboxing,hiit,abs/core routines.try to mix it up .Still run and jog a bit on some days and thinking of buying a cross trainer/thread mill though I prefer outdoor runs.

Don't really want to lose weight anymore just to continue to be fit and tone up a bit .

Sounds great .. These teenagers today love their money cheesy. It's the carrot method and is a good motivation will def try when my kids are older

Efe, lunch at work can be expensive.
I have a coworker whose meals at work are fancy eats. For me, I just take a salad bowl and an avocado to work. Some days I go with my own cooked meals. I have 30 minutes for lunch so that's a good excuse not to go with them grin to get lunch outside.
My breakfast is an avocado...quite filling for Breakfast. Mid morning snacking is one organic brown egg and some nuts...I thank God for not adding any blobs this year cheesy

Maybe 4/5 times in the last month too .Do more indoor workouts now.

I was thinking of buying either a cross trainer or Dreadmill(sorry treadmill cheesy) I just think running indoors is sooo boring.

Lol! I have repented totally. No more fancy work lunches. The only deviation I had last week was to indulge in a double shot of wheat grass drink.

For those doing pills for pregnancy prevention. How do you do it. I'm scared of cases of breast cancer I hear of every corner. These women are not even up to mid 30s.

Even pills for cold. I only take it when I can't move around. All these drugs could either save or kill you. Radiation too. How much is too small or too big ?
I tire sha. It's well. My very good friend is sick. God she is too young for this kind of sickness . embarassed

Trust me. You won't use that treadmills. It will only oçupy space. Continue with your out door running . Fresh air too. That's just one the benefit running outside. Clears the mind too.

Here is a pic of patato puree. Someone doesn't like eating vegetables. So I blended little mushroom with cauliflower to the milk used for the puree. The smell was horrible because of the cauliflower but who cares. Dem chop am like that.

It's true the C diseases is just almost everywhere now. Almost like an epidemic. sometimes I find myself thinking about it too. My boss just went for her surgery last month. We are hoping she pulls through fine.

But we can't prevent anything by worrying.

That aside, pills like any other contraceptives, do come with their own associated risks /downsides. Why not discuss other alternative preventive options with your GP?
