I don't seem to understand your point...you have not been consistent...

What point are you trying to make?
Between 1 Cedi and 1 Naira, which is more valuable? Which one do you think is higher?

These things are intentional trade, I do not need to go to ghana to find out what exchange rates are.
The simple way to understand it is every 1 cedi u see is in actual value 100cedis. so your comparison now should be if 1cedi =N52 it actually means 100cedis=N52. In this case you don't look at the face figure but the value. Hope this will explain it better.

dude the explanations @mekaboy gave you was a hit back to back.
So bro if its the naira you want come and collect it.

You did not annoy me sir, we learn from each other everyday. I was getting confused myself. Wondering if it is still the same Ghana that I know.

Because from your analysis it means the Cedi is stronger than the Japanese yen and Ghana economy is better than Japan.

Thank you for bringing this Naira VS Cedi argument to a conclusive end, a wealth of information and knowledge you just posted in the past few pages. I have learnt a lot from these few pages. Following you immediately.

Yes I agree with alikote. Buh again, what are the available alternatives at this point?. 8% is still very much a better deal than 4%. smiley

Why not consider the ARM Money market fund? Why tie down your capital for 180days for mere 5%, and by the time the rate comes back up like we are anticipating it should. You will be at a disadvantage. My one kobo! Peace. cool

I hope you know it's per annum interest. What you actually get for the 90 days is 1/4 of 5.5% which is about 1.375%. That's N13,750.

For those that wants to invest in Fixed deposit. I work with a Non- banking financial institution called Rosabon financial services on the Main land (Lagos) with a branch in PH, licensed and regulated by CBN and also been in existence for over 22yrs now. our interest rate still remain unbeatable, fantastic and far better than what all the commercial banks are giving out presently. For 1M is actually 12% per annum for 90days and is still open to negotiation. The longer the tenure , the better the interest rate. You may contact me if you are interested. 08036450638,09053606576 or a.abatan@rosabon-finance.net and you can also earn commission on referral or Join our Broker Program today and earn as much as 3.5% on every Treasury or Lease Transaction that you generate. Thanks
