Looking at the fact that matters on sex in and out of relationships is hardly discussed in Nigeria, I decided to write this short piece. The way a man is wired, the urge for sex triggers him to look for a way to satisfy it, and some times, that urge can be like a volcano, waiting to erupt. It could be compared to damming water from a river. You can only dam a water for so long. If you don't use that water (have sex), or redirect (get busy, redirect the sexual energy to other parts of your body, get creative) after a while, it would find a less worthy outlet. When you hear of priests having sex with little alter boys, or old men molesting young girls, this gives you an idea how powerful the urge for sex can be.



So, how often should a man release that magical fluid from his system? It strongly depends on the man's age. Even if a man chooses to be celibate and abstain from sex entirely, he might have wet-dreams from time to time. Which is an emission of semen while a man sleeps. This is a way our body gets rid of built up semen and sexual urge, and then starts a new cycle. According to Dr. Charles Runels, in his book, Anytime, For As Long As You Want, he said said every man can know his sexual cycle by dividing his age by 5. So, if you are 25 years old, you will reach the peak of your urge to have sex 5 days after you last blew your load. With this calculation, I would say once a week is okay.

I am not talking of during one sex session, but about how often he should have an orgasm in a week. How often should a man have sex in a week?

I decided to write this because women and men are not built the same, and some times women don't understand why a guy might appear to want sex so much at a point.
