Your 3.62/5 evaluation would have been 3.20+/4 if it was WES
true but WES said they are yet to establish a working term with my undergraduate school(Lead City) so I had to resort to ECE

What does it take to go to Abuja for legalization of Bachelor and transcript?

Also, how much is legalization of Bachelor and transcript?
Also, how much is legalization at Embassy of Czech Republic?
Finally, how many days does it take to complete the legalization process?

Iam also contemplating using WES,ECE or IERF. I heard WES boost GPA. Don't know how true. And its like WES waste somuch time because of the issue of replying ur school to confirm if verify if they sent the transcript. Meanwhile IERF doesn't do all that. So my question is what's the evaluation of ECE and IERF like? Does it reflect on GPA?

Don't use ECE. GCE is even better than ECE. WES is the best, probably the reason why they waste time.

1.5 - 2 months shouldn't be too long for you to endure if your school reply them back on time.

What if it was IERF?

WES seems to be the conventional evaluator used by most schools. Why not use them (WES) to have a reasonable evaluation and/or in case a school tells you all they want is WES or ECE.

And one thing with WES is this issue of writing back to your school to verify the documents. Most times it takes the school so long either to receive the mail or to write back to WES.

You will survive. One thing about NYC is there are many menial jobs you can get even as a student but such your employer must not report you as part of their workers. SSN you will get as soon as you get an on campus job.

My problem is the delay. My school didn't specify which to use. My school even stated that I should note that WES delays, meaning they know WES delays a lot. IERF doesn't write back to ur UG school. Once they get an official document from the UG school, they are ok with that and they take 15 working days to evaluate.

Well, you can try them but if applying to many schools, WES is be the best.

Without any form of letter from your employer/international advisor, you won't be given SSN by the social security administration. All international students in US can only work on campus. If you work outside without permission and get caught, you've violated the terms and conditions of your F1 and such is a punishable offence.

If i understand you well, you're planning to use GCE? You might end up crying when your 5 point CGPA is cut like the way doctors cut off dead tissues. WES evaluation favorites Nigerian grading system. Their requirement is relaxed too. Best of luck with whatever you choose.

Thank a lot bro ..so about the wes how and what do you think I'll need to prepare myself ..I'm a secondary school cert holder ... How do I go about irpt please..

To legalize your document, You have to first take your transcript to Federal Ministry of education for authentication, then you take it to Federal Ministry of Foreign affairs for legalisation both at Abuja. Legalisation should be for like hours or Maximum of 24hrs. The two ministry is at Jose Matri in Asokoro.. A friend of mine did that last year..

Why WES take longer time is during the verification period. Because they send your document back to your UG school for verifications through unregistered regular mail and this takes like 2weeks or more to get to naija. It may even get lost on transit. This is where students do think their schools is very slow in replying WES whereas they may not have gotten any verification materials from WES. My best advice for you is to pay $60 for your verification documents to be sent to naija(if you be OBO like one of my padi here). It will get to naija in 3days and your school go reply at worst 3-5days after receiving..

WES receives your transcript & cert and verify your documents for 7days(Verification in progress) ->> send it back to your school for verification (14days or forever) ->> WES receives reply from your school(wait for like 24hrs for an update in your profile on WES portal) ->> Evaluation in progress(7days) ->> Transcript Evaluated and ready. So count the total days together..

See processes. Cheeiiii. Meanwhile if naa IERF,once you send ur transcript through ur UG school, they receive and start evaluating. U can even photocopy your certificate and ask ur UG school to attach it and send. They even mailed me dat they evaluate with the certificate. And that everything is within 15working days. WES is cool but their stress no be here. Am considering deadline aswell.

ICAP - course by course... Your evaluated transcript will be with WES forever for future purpose. You will just need to be ordering for a duplicate report in future.. So choose ICAP- course by course.. Its the most expensive & highly recommended by all schools

Oga,.you don't need to upload any credentials o. Your transcript should be sent directly from your school to WES and you send a photocopy of your certificate YOURSELF to WES..

You just need to be careful, else you may end up paying alot of money for a single mistake.. Make sure you add the "recipient(s)" on FIRST submit, if you don't want to pay extra $30+ for additional copy(ies) to your intending schools..

I assisted a family friend to legalise the wife birth certificate at the ministry of foreign affairs on Tuesday 19/1/2015 and I was charged 1k per paper but I learnt that is was #250 per page and it takes weeks or so before collecting it but I couldn't wait to collect it on Tuesday but went there yesterday to pick it up.

I entered inside ministry to get it done since it will be verify but the funniest thing was that the woman at the Legal office didn't give me receipt and told me a funny lies that some touts were caught forging their boss signature and because of that every office were angry.. (She just don't want me to have the receipt because I will see the exact cost)

Also on that same day, I met a guy who legalise his waec result and according to him he said that he went to ministry of education first and then ministry of foreign affairs and he is going to the country embassy to finalise the last stage..
