You can actually apply for PR without the help of any agent, start by visiting engineersaustralia.org.au all the information you need is there, to assess your degree cert & you will have to write a well detail CDR (competency demonstration report).
As it stands now
Age = 30points, the moment you click 33 it will reduce to 25points.
IELTS = 0points.
Overseas recognize degree = 15points
Work experience (if you meet 3years by the assessing body = 5points
With these your points ain't enough for PR, register for IELTS & aim for at least 7 in each band which is 10points, if your point is up to 60 then you are good to go.

Bro, Good evening sir.

I am also a chemical engineer and interested in this. Age 29, Single, I have an Msc with 1 year experience, IELTS 8.5

I have visited engineersaustralia.org.au and gone through the process. Can I submit an EOI before the assessment or I have to do the assessment first? Pls what is my current point? And which sub class do u suggest, currently checking subclass 189. Still trying to understand how the nominations work.

Thanks

Use this link to calculate your points http://www.bobinoz.com/points-calculator-for-australian-immigration/

What was your minimum band score across all sections? The gurus in the house can assist with the other questions you asked.

Cool.

I think there are only 2 feasible routes for obtaining extra points; re-take IELTS (or attempt PTE) and score higher OR state nomination points. The gurus in the house can advise further.

Thanks.

Chaiii, you sabi book ooo. If you don't mind going the research route, I suggest you look up MPhil courses in your area of interest. There are scholarships for research masters aka MPhil.

Iceberg54,

The Speaking score has reduced your point to 10 in Language. Otherwise you would have scored 20.

Nevertheless, it is good enough for assessment. You need to do your assessment first before submitting EOI. Organise the documents you need for assessment with Engineer Australia. Express assessment is about $900.

@Richnet,

When you apply , do what I asked you the first time to do. You have enough time. You can get an extension of resumption from the school if need be.

Just Becareful of what you seek for .
One of my Gee here in my street studied in U.K & returned with 1st class, he applied for scholarships and got an offer from Monash conditional , he pushed to make it unconditional and spent $100 AuD in application & equally sent his Original Certificate straight from his graduated university in U.K.
Only for them to return yesterday with a sad news that the Scholarship was unsuccessful.
This happened after they issued an Unconditional offer letter oooO.

But they still asked him to accept if he's ready to pay $38k, The scholarship was just to lure him forward.

You are very close to getting your PR. All you need to do now is to gather the documents for your assessment and quickly submit them. You can get your assessment done even within 24hrs by Engineers Australia. Goodluck.

Application for admission is entirely different from scholarship application. Your guy was admitted conditionally which has nothing to do with the scholarship application.

His application was assessed along with others, he probably was unsuccessful because there were other applicants better qualified or who had journal publications that gave them advantage.

Summary, admission application is different from scholarship application.

I understands you.
Because one have to first apply to study for the school before he can apply for scholarships.
He told me all that.

He also believed that they runs some partiality on the whole process, it might work for some other person though.
●LIKE thousands/Million applys for the scholarship & they would pick like 5 out of them all & bag others application Money.
Calculate how much they bagged , it can pay for them 5 & the school would also smiles to the Bank.

But a lot went down during the whole process, even giving him hope that everything has worked out and refers him to Agents for conclusions.
Then returns with that banger News.
