All of you asking when the recruitment was done are obviously not eligible cause you don't have the criminal requirements if not, you would have known how to go through the back door.

BADNEAT:
The Senate Committee on Police Affairs said it is in custody of names of successful applicants to be enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force from the Inspector General of the Police, Mr Solomon Arase. It said that it would soon meet to scrutinize it to ensure that there is no lopsidedness in the exercise. The committee also said it is working with the ministries of Interior and Justice to ensure that a Trust Fund for the Police Force established to complement the budgetary yearly allocations of the force for optimal performance is well funded.

Speaking with journalists yesterday, the chairman of the committee, Senator Abu Ibrahim said his committee was worried over allegations and insinuations that the just concluded recruitment into the Police Force was lopsided;hence there was the need to properly look at the list critically, just to ensure that every zone is properly included in the exercise.

Speaking further, Senator Abu Ibrahim said the allocation ofN19billion to the police out of the total sum of N53billion to the ministry of Interior was inadequate to transform and reposition the police force.

this report is not tru. they are talking about promotion within the force. Some policemen petition the senate committee on police affairs on lopsidedness in the promotion and the committee requested for the list of promoted officers
Re: Police Recruitment: Senate Receives Names Of Successful Candidates by zion47: 4:02pm On Jan 22, 2016
I dont trust dis govt from day 1,after d suspension of Nigeria Immigration 2015 recruited officers i lost hope in this govt, dat recruitment was 100% transparent because at d time recruitment was on going GEJ av already lost election so no slot was shared. the worst is yet to come.NSCDC would be worse because dey already av all their candidates and names already compile.that is what u get from any govt base on lies.Nigeria civil defence av already complie names from politicians.naija i hail.one chance don carry naija.

The exercise was for junior officers with higher education not the normal police recruitment. The journalist is a useless type and he didn't understand the deliberation very well.

Last year, Arase conducted a promotion exercise for junior police officer with Degree to be promoted to ASP. The exercise was petition on the ground that it was lopsided, the NASS ordered a review of the exercise and the report of the review is what is presented today not direct recruitment.
