[s]Show us proof you have 4 Chakas.

Do you know how many Eagles we have too?

Conclusion, one Chaka C2 commands ONLY 5,000 troops. One Eagle commands A WHOLE army + air force combined !

Thanks for admitting that One Nigerian army Eagle C2 = Ten SANDF Chaka C2 grin grin[/s]

.
No where does it say what you claim, no where at all.

We have 4:
The initial order was for equipment sufficient for three simultaneous peacekeeping operations and one training exercise.
http://itweb.co.za/mobilesite/defenceweb/home/item_id-9810/

This whole LinkZA + Chaka thing has clearly driven you over the edge.

Not even worth responding to

Are you intentionally killing this thread?

And yes we can, each system commands 5k men... we have 3 right now... they can be linked via LinkZA
Your LinkZA is half dead, it is a mere INTERCOM, you have no complete data link....if you connect Chaka to it, then your C2 is half dead !

.

Link-ZA is fully functional

Links have been provided, here is the 5th:

Reports at AAD indicate a pre-production Chaka system, integrated with the SAAF APDS and the National Joint Operations Centre, provided C2 to Operation Kgwele that safeguarded the soccer World Cup.
http://itweb.co.za/mobilesite/defenceweb/home/item_id-9810/

There you have it

4 Chakas + SAAF APDS + LinkZA = Total control through J-OPs

Have you no dignity left? Continuing this argument only leads to you embarrassing yourself.

ONLY ONE Chaka C2 is reported delivered according to your own source !

"The South African Army will early next year take delivery of the first operational variants of the SAAB Systems Grintek “Chaka” brigade-and-below command-and-control system. " http://itweb.co.za/mobilesite/defenceweb/home/item_id-9810/

Show us proof that 4 Chakas are delivered to SANDF.

Remember, One NA Eagle C2 = Hundred SANDF Chaka C2....Fact that you have already proved from SANDF sources !

2.The initial order was for equipment sufficient for three simultaneous peacekeeping operations and one training exercise.

Can you please quote where it says that the Eagle has those capabilities?

1. Each INDEPENDENT Chaka system is designed to command 5000 men. We have 3, so that is 15 000 men on the feild commanded by C3. These systems can then be linked together for a broader picture via link ZA AND then you can integrate the air-forces APDS
Only ONE SINGLE Chaka is reported delivered, show proof you have more than one C2 Chaka.

"The Eagle Mobile Central Command Post is a vehicle mounted with various Information Communication and Technology equipment. From the vehicle the commander has access to both ground troops and air assets within the battle space .

The Eagle Mobile Central Command Post was borne is a mobile Central Command Post that is designed to link up with the troops in the field, as well as the command hierarchy.

With this, the President, Commander-in-Chief, Minister of Defence, Chief of Defence Staff and the Service Chiefs can have real time contact with the troops in the field. Added to this, the Eagle Mobile Central Command Post affords close monitoring of the activities of the troops and passage of real time information from strategic level to operational and tactical levels.

Well done on missing the point of my post

I used the same definition for the hornet as you did for the eagle - because it is vague and general and means nothing.

And, yes, it is C2

Now... tell us about the Eagle system, tell us how many troops it can command, or at least report on its capabilities... I see one old truck, a [cammo net and a tv screen with skype on it

Fraud ! SANDF C2 is just one tiny laptop computer in one MRAP called Chaka C2 for 5,000 troops command only !

Eagle C2 of Nigeria beats SANDF Chaka C2 by 100 times more power/capacity ! Eagle commands a whole army and air force for Nigeria.

We own you, your army CANNOT command and control in remote area once the troops exceed 5,000 men !

The first pic is of the Battletech testing room, that forms part of the Chaka C2!!

You need urgent brain surgery dude.
No.

Those 30 people will be sitting 100's of Km away in J-OPs. Running the Chaka system, like they trained for with BattleTek.

As I have allready shown you in the links above.

Does NOT have to say it, that is the size of Nigerian army troops and air force platforms deployed in Boko Haram war zone where the Eagle commands and controls with ease, real-time !

Battle space, entire battle space, size of a country....One Eagle C2 commands that much.

Chaka C2 is totally beaten and outclassed by the EAGLE !

That is not what it says. Battlespace is a very broad term.

Chaka also manages a whole battle-space, the battle-space of a Brigade.

battlespace
n
(Military)
a. the area of air, sea, and land that is directly involved in war

While furthermore, Chaka is just one aspect of LinkZA... we have airforce APDS combining with multiple Chaka systems through LinkZA to provide a broad picture of up to 2 divisions in the feild plus aircraft and vessels, and that is just with the systems we have purchased. See, it is a network.

or did you think that Chaka was just one stand alone asset? We are not like you, we have more than node-to-node capabilities.

Now, you said 30 000 men and 100 aircraft. Please provide details to substantiate this.

Stop asking for old citations to be reposted for you, these facts are already posted on this forum many times before.

NA had initial 25,000 men before President Jonathan added extra 5,000 SF and COIN brigade.

"Nigeria has up to 25,000 soldiers deployed in its anti-insurgency operations. That’s such a large chunk of its combat-ready troops, the government is considering withdrawing soldiers from peacekeeping missions elsewhere."

https://medium.com/war-is-boring/the-african-union-readies-an-army-to-beat-boko-haram-694150ba6ebb#.pbz8ixpv6

Count NAF F-7s, Alphas, Drones, Mi-24s, Mi-35s, Mi-171s, ATR-42s, Beechcrafts, Agustas, Pumas, Gazelles, Fennecs, Hercules, Dorniers, Diamonds, G-222s....we have seen all these aircraft flying total of about 6,000 combat sorties in the battle space.

Stop fvcking around, Nigerian Eagle C2 commands a whole battle space and is ALREADY BATTLE TESTED unlike your Chaka C2 that is only used in demos not real war zones yet !

The mess you created on the other thread has turned against y.ou now and is showing the weakness of your overrated Chaka C2 grin grin

It commands that size of NA and NAF in NE war zone today.

Eagle cannot be said to command a particular number limitations, IT COMMANDS A WHOLE BATTLE SPACE....put 100,000 men and 500 aircraft into any battle space, Eagle C2 of Nigeria will command and control them.

Chaka C2 commands ONLY 5,000 troops maximum ! SANDF is inferior, Chaka is a toy compared to Eagle.

Patches, why did SANDF choose to be inferior to Nigerian army in C2 capabilities, can you guess why ?

As I have allready shown battle-space is a realative term. A battle-space can be the size of a platoon engagement.

List where it says it can command 100 000 men and 500 aircraft

Provide technical information to prove this point.

And again, you are clearly failing to understand how a network operates - multiple Chakas operate together under J-OPs.

SAAB Systems SA MD Willie Bothma said in August 2008 the deal represented a major leap forward in the utilisation of information technology to improve the operational effectiveness of the SA Army, the SA National Defence Force and its Joint Operations Division that exercises C2 over all deployed forces. "Planning time will be reduced drastically and orders can now be sent instantaneously in near real-time", said Bothma.

How long is it going to take before you realize that BattleTech and Chaka are one and the same??
If we are conducting a simulated war we use the BattleTech, which plots the Data in to the Chaka C2 system, when there is a real threat, instead of simulated data being plotted in to the Chaka system, real scenarios will be plotted. T

The same Laptops, monitors ect used when using Battletech are also the same monitors used for Chaka C2....Just go read the Article

Lastly Age of Empires isn't a war simulator, it just a PC game.
