checked my second semester result, and I had an F.

Seeing as that's the only course I failed, do I just register for one course for this session?

No class of grade is written for master programmes except pass. For you to know your CGPA you have to request for your statement of result or transcript through your study centre or go to the HQ
Please what is the minimum cgpa for PHD.

MimiHANS how sure are u about the 30 units for PGD cus have seen several people mention 40 units b4.
@wableo where does one choose elective from when the portal does not put elective in the list of registrable courses. Infact PGD Bus Admin have in total, 34 units including Project.
You will see elective courses with E writing in front if them. Compulsory courses has C in front. If total units is 34, it means minimum can't be more than 30. Just do all your courses in case of anything.

Talking about the results that have just been released, has anyone ever witnessed a disparity in e-result calculated and the one released via portal. For example, I got 88/120 in a course as revealed by the system. The TMA score was 28/30. By my calculations, exam score should be (88*70)/120 = 51/70. Adding to the TMA should be 51+28 = 79 but I saw a "B" in that course. What should be done to have this corrected ASAP? Your advice and contributions will be highly appreciated. Thanks

Same problem with my result...I suppose to have 5As and 4Bs but I saw 3As, 3Bs and 3Cs. Have they changed the formula or rather degraded the TMA to 3 poor instead of 3 best?

Do i need to pay the compulsory fee of N13000 before my result will reflect on my portal ? Have been checking since morning but no result.

You don't have to pay the compulsory fee before accessing your results . Keep trying. The problem may arise from an unstable network.

In this case, register the failed course with other courses this semester.

It's a PGD programme and I have already passed all the other courses. It's just this one course.

This is a factor of the semester u are and the status of the course in question. If u wrote the course in your last semester and you have amazed the minimum number of units required for every PGD student, then u are good to go provided that the status of the course is Elective. If it is a compulsory course, you MUST pass the course before u can graduate. On the other hand, if the course is an elective and u are not in your final semester , u may register it with the present semester's courses. In sums, elective courses can be waived if not passed before graduation but not a compulsory course.
