Who do you hire? Lebron's yes man. Lol

You hire a coach and don't empower him, his moves openly questioned by the so-called players. Do you really believe the hiring of Lue gives the Cavs a shot at a ring? Lool

Any of the Spurs or Warriors the Cavs are unfortunate to run into they would get smoked. The roster was hurriedly arranged, you have a SF who wants to be PG ahead of the actual PG, said SF barking and disrespecting his coach in full glare of everyone. You can never get the best from such system

Steve Kerr was also a rookie coach but the players followed his lead a. Its one thing to have an input its another thing to openly disregard orders by your superiors. It is only in sports you can get away with that crap.

Kobe had a big ego but he knew his place. Don't compare him to that diva who sits in his coach's seat, checks himself out of games and openly barks at his coach while a game is on. Kobe didn't do that

They will get to the Finals and suffer another crushing loss
True.. The Cavs won't get a shot at the championship this season. It's glaring even on court. As you said either Blatt was not empowered or he was soft.

A better point guard does these all and still put up high numbers as much as he can without the teammates feeling left out. I'm very sure you know some PGs are good at that . True PG doesn't add or remove the game's spice.

NBA has evolved. Players have adjusted their roles to be more efficient

Nowadays, Centers shoot 3s, PFs get more rebounds, PGs have more points and SGs don't even go to the paint no more. The game has been modified for it to be equally efficient as the 90s. Does it change a thing? Probably less defence is seen but the improved offense balances it up and that's why Curry is way too versatile in doing what he does

Call me old fashioned but I like what Rondo has done this season. He takes me back to the days of Stockton and Nash and should be appreciated for it

I will live with getting to the finals. Anything can happen there.

With Blatt's rotations, the Bulls had a really good chance beating the Cavs in the ECF - Gasol is playing like in the early days with Lakers and Rose is starting to blow by people again. If Lue has different rotations like I think he will, I like Cavs chances. Yeah, I dont like the fact that they chose Lebron's childhood friend as the coach even tho I like Lue as a player. But if Lue gets out of the east, he will probably live to see another season.

...And anything can happen in the finals.

Well your boy must be used to Finals losses by now. Only a catastrophe on a biblical scale can save the Cavs from decimation

I personally think the Bulls also underperformed on offense and should be pushing for a breakthrough against a Cavs team that really is there for the taking

The Raptors also look dangerous and their recent playoff heartbreaks should fuel them to push for a EC title

what do yall think about this vid. I saw it on another nland thread - basically interviewing Hakeem and asking why he hasnt contributed back.

From back in the day when Hakeem was still prominent in Houston (he is spotlight shy and pretty much dissappeared after retiring), I had certain views about Hakeem, especially his interaction with the Nigerian community. I'll keep em for now - I just wonder if anyone else can decode his body language here. Is he making sense?

I doubt the result would be any different in San Antonio.

Meanwhile Boogie went for 56 points, while Rondo threw 20 dimes in the loss to the Hornetts.

Was watching Warriors vs spurs game yesterday. the way the Curry takes his shot,it looks like a joke.like he is just taking fancy shots. He is very quick in releasing shots. Also the warriors are very good as a team. I watch how they punish teams for making bad choice. If you double team curry or draymond, you will be punished cuz the warrior's guy you just left open is no fool. They don't play boring games at all.

I also love the fact that its no longer Lebron or Durant everyone is talking about. More like when everyone was talking about Magic johnson and larry Bird and forgot about Jordan then.

I blame the main stream media who are still aggressively marketing Lebron as the best player overall in the league, its pretty frustrating especially when we all know Curry is King.

But trust "Father Time" he has never failed.

Yeah, he has that body language. Unfortunately, he is very willing to help - it just really isnt his strength. Being simple minded can be a good thing, but boy, in Hakeem's case I think it bordered on undecided.

Even when he was playing, he never really exerted any influence. Look at how Kenny the jet Smith, a lesser player on the same team has way more business and social currency in htown. I remember shortly after retiring, Hakeem just disappeared to Saudi for like 2 years lol! I will always appreciate Hakeem being a stand-up character, but lawd, I can only imagine the people, especially Nigerians he could have pulled up while he had the opportunity to.

Which curry? 2 simple questions for yall.

If I place Curry or Lebron on the worst teams in the NBA
1. whose team will improve more?
2. whose individual stats will not take a hit

ehen! so you see why LBJ is king indeed grin grin grin

You are right and that question caught him off guard, that was why he said "it's not something he can do alone" he obviously wasn't talking about the cost of setting up an academy....I remember then Olumide Oyedeji tried something like that...He needs to change that mindset of his smiley

No doubt, lebron team will improve more....... I am not even going to argue against that.... If you put lebron on any team, that team is going to at least the Eastern conference finals if the team is in the east, if he comes to the lakers today, I can put all my money on it that the lakers is not getting pass the first round until the team gets another all star.

The reason why lebron stat will not take a hit is because he plays like a point guard which i do not like. I see him as a ball hog, a stat sheet stuffer. Lebron makes the role players around him look really good, look at dellavadova, james jones, mike miller, and all of those guys... he makes them look really good. When you are talking about Star players on his team, he makes them look really bad. Look at chris bosh, At toronto bosh averaged 22.7 and 24.0 points in his last two years and while he was in miami he averaged 16.6 and 16.2 respectively in lebron last two years.

You want to know what Klay Thompson is averaging right now with the MVP still on his team currently? Dude Averaged 21.7 last year and is averaging 20.9 this season and that is because he has not been shooting the ball well like he did last year. A star is still looking like a star on curry's team because of the way he plays, and guess what? The role players look like good players because he lets them handle the ball, Players like Shawn Livingston, harrison barnes, andre iguodala, barbosa, and even draymond green and co look like star players almost every other day because curry makes them better. It is even unfair to call these players role players anymore because they just look like star players when you watch them play. Lebron does not adjust to other players, everytime people have to defer to him or learn how to play with him. What is Tristan Thompson Averaging? I will wait, What is Kevin Love averaging? I will wait, Heck what is Kyrie Averaging? I will wait.

No matter what kevin love does, he is always going to look like a freaking role player unless lebron finally understands he needs to play like a small forward and not a Point Guard. The guy is not even a great shooter, if he was i will understand what the heck he is doing out of the three points line thinking he is Larry bird.

Lebron is not winning a chip anymore, and i hope he gets to the finals so he can be 2-5 grin grin. Just because he keeps taking his team to the Eastern Conference finals does not mean he is the best player on the planet.
