U didn't tell us about the very big disadvantage,
1. When usung otg, your battery power get sucked by the connected device and there is no way to connect ur charger while working with the otg as the otg data cable has taken d space meant for charging the device

Everything has an advantage and a disadvantage... this also has its down side like the person above just stated

I used it first, when I was using my Nokia 603. few years back. then the cable was so scarce I overpaid for it
now, it's not more than #500

That's not a disadvantage, check the picture op uploaded, u can be charging at the same time..

Tho looking at the connection i think it is wired in a way that only the data part of the otg goes to the phone then the power part is taken care of by the charger, tho that wont make sense as it defeats the purpose of on the go... The amount of things connected are too much.. I'd rather have a bluetooth mouse, a bluetooth keyboard, Bluetooth headset then my otg cable would be strictly for a gamepad and a thumb drive
