Lol.. No be lie.. Unilorin be like Secondary school. My guy wey we serve together for akwaibom graduated from Unilorin. Them no dey even talk freely with girls.. My guy come go fall In love with one girl when we dey camp... You need to see following na. I pity the boy Sha and make the girl no break him heart.

A teacher in ogbomosho asked his students, 1+1= ?. A student stood up and said 4. An ijebu man passing by overhead the response, he shook his head and said: "This APC government will kill us in this country. Everything has increased, dollar, transport fare, fuel prices, foodstuff, beer, ...everything. Even 1+1 that used to be 2 has now gone up to 4...".....lolz.

I go even frog jump just to graduate Mehn...

...and when these lecturers go abroad dem go gentle die. Smh

I was actually a witness to this so theres no room for them say them talk. I graduated from a different university in the northern part of the country in 2009 and today, I decided to pay an old friend a visit here in the college of health science (UNILORIN). By the way, today, the final year undergraduate students from the department of physiology had a brief seminar presentation on a particular course and during the course of the presentation, some students were caught making noise by the lecturer and he asked them all to stand up and remain standing as punishment. as if that wasn't enough, it was this dudes' turn to present but he wasn't well dressed.

Funny boy i must say but guess what, the lecturer had to punish him by telling him to stand on the table and face the whole class (like they do in secondary schools) . Yesterday, it was the story of lecturer seizing a student's footware ( I'm actually aware of this development). I think these barbaric act should stop but what do you expect when 15-20 year olds are being admitted into the university? They say, UNILORIN IS A GLORIFIED SECONDARY SCHOOL and these days, its really proving to be true.

those days, men were older and naturally matured in behavior and studying but these days young boys wana show off "we are now in school" perspective. I guess the lecturers hav device means to check d frequently childish act of the so called university boys of nowadays. they should learn to respect themselves

Who ask your year of graduation

There àre rules guiding anything in life and I guess the student had gone against the laid down rules and regulations so the lecture had to reduce him to a secondary school student since he acted as one in the secondary school unlike an undergraduate

It's one thing for a Lecturer to give a foolish instruction, it's another thing for a grown Man to obey a foolish instruction.




And tomorrow you will find these students in the workplace and you would be wondering why a professional has no self confidence in themselves and are so timid.

are you suggesting he defy the lecturer's instruction. And for a grown up making noise during presentation. I really don't know what to think of the youth of nowadays.

I still can't see anything bad in this guy's dressing.

These lecturers should take it easy on these students, especially the not-too-bad ones.

If the lecturer had walked him out of the presentation, u would hve SAID hê is wicked. You wana do a presentation and u know u hve to be fully kitted up, but u refused. Climbing on the table is Just to show en other students his stupidy. Climbing on the table and doing his presentation is actually better than being walked out and not doing his presentation. Little things matter

You don't correct a s.tupid person by being s.tupid yourself. This is not how things are done. Nigerians are just too emotional in matters requiring rationale.

During my Matriculation, I remember my late VC saying clearly that we were all adults and would be treated as such.

This type of corporal punishment should not be allowed in institutions of higher learning. Walk them out if you must but you can't instruct a grown man to stand on a table as punishment. I would not have done it. I will walk out and damn the consequences.

I am not justifying their disruption of a seminar presentation, but you can't treat an adult like a minor.

Oga you may be right, I graduated from unilorin and know our lecturers can atimes can be somehow, but must say you went above the odds with the post. We all know every school has its own politics..Look at OAU that suspended its SUG executes for years ranging between 2-3 for an assault on a lecturer. Students or anyone are not allowed to bring their grievances to the social media in some schools.. All am saying is that you should not have gone to the extent of posting pictures. I only pray the innocent dude graduates successfully

Well,some of us prefer spending 6/7yrs in that secondary skl (med skl) than spending more than a decade in places like osu and oau.

These is a university were lecturers encourage the students to cram their books. A school that just issue out certificate to saturate the labour market. A school were a 500 level student can not identify a transformer inside an inverter, a project he claimed he designed himself and was scored A in first semester and B in second semester.

Oga speak for yourself and show us facts next time...And no school is 100% including UNIBEN and UI...If you have issues with the school, it does not mean you should destroy the school image
