Pls I want to bake d banana cake but dnt ave an oven.... Can it be done wit d stove?

definitely! u will need a large pot that covers well and won't let any heat escape. I'm guessing you use gas stove. Set on medium high heat. it might take a couple tries to get the heat at the correct setting. But medium high shud be OK. cover the bottom of the pot with salt and place stones in the pot to set ure cake pan that way u prevent the bottom of ure cake burning. below is a pic of a cake I baked in a pot.

Please can anyone recommend a good cocoa powder brand to use in my chocolate cakes and other chocolate related baked goods. I always have my sister bring some with her when she comes visiting but my stash is quickly dwindling. Thanks for your help.


Please someone should help out with the above question, I also want to get opinions on that

@ Akposy, I use baking cocoa powder I buy from bake shops ...brands like Bakers choice, Amsel Susan etc, I just want to know what other bakers prefer.

Hi friends, I nid ur help, I got an oven as a wedding present and I want to start using it. D poblem is dat d oven knob has flames on it and not d fehrenhit numbers, pls hw do I use it and again I don't have a mixer, hw do I do d creaming as I want 2 try ol d amezing recipes I found here. I know I have u ol here 2 take me tru dis journey of baking. Thanks

I have been hearing, and even attending Exhibitions - several of them, but I have not come across such thing as Baking, Catering and Confectionery Exhibition in Nigeria.
