heres the solution;

1. Lets control the way we turn rural area to urban i.e selling of lands meant for farming to build house. lets copy the uk style of house building where upto 4 family lived in house built on a plot of land space.

2. FG should channel more funds to farming; buys more farm tools & machinery, fertilizers etc lands should be allocated to real farmers.

3. We should control our birth rate & northerners are guilty of this. theres a particular old man named 'masaba', a northerner that has over 90wives. even the educated one among them are guilty as well e.g Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Atiku Abubakar etc. Most of those road side beggars has 3 to 4 wives of which is uncalled for. I have nothing against the northerner but just that they are more guilty of the 3rd point.

May God help us

Joevics:
And what did he suggest is the way forward apart from those unrealistic ideas he suggested. During GEJ's Admin, the former minister of agriculture did a whole lot. The farmers e-wallet scheme and others were introduced, the fg then increased import duties for rice to stimulate local production et al. All those ideas have Now gone down the drain, the rice import ban has been lifted, there is no news about the farmers e-wallet fertilizers and to make it worse the ministry of agriculture got a very lower budget compared to the ministry of information at a period wen everyone is talking about diversification. Most times I wonder what if these people think. They better wake up from their honeymoon and start working instead of telling us what they can do on media everyday.
a nigerian who remembers...you would think these policies were enacted twenty years ago for it to have been forgotten and discarded.

This isn't any kind of prophesy....It's just the truth. If a nation doesn't produce enough food and keeps breeding a mammoth population, there will certainly be hunger in the on run. Everything mustn't be seen from a religious lens.

Enough of these talks. You're expected to act and you keep talking. The presidency knew all these yet budgeted more for misinformation than Agriculture? What kind of senseless president and ministers do we have in this country self?

On the population issues, I think the president and his cohorts should first take their campaign to the north because that's where the major population crises is already being experienced.

The presidency is very correct. it is crystal clear, visible to the blind, audible to the deaf. For the last 16 years, we failed to diversify our economy.

thank God for this administration. Let's empower agriculture and technology.

Your statement sounds two-faced! What are you thanking God for, ministry of information getting billions more than that of Agriculture?

Well, as a sensible honorable minister of agriculture, do all in your power to start preventing that from now.

Learn some lesson from Joseph in the bible Mr. Minister.

Some of una go just come online and make blinded statements based on party affiliations.

The agriculture and technology wey you dey talk about now, the last administration no do am? Infact na dem even show us say we fit do all these things.

From sustained food production by aiding farmers with incentives to car plants, to satellite launches, to rapid industrialization etc.

Truth should be told no matter what, and the truth is that the last administration tried in agriculture and technology.

Person 'wey do' and person 'wey go do' na which 1 suppose make noise pass??

And what's the government doing about it?
"Nigerians will starve by 2050"..
Yet they're using millions of dollars to explore the chad basin in search of oil that is becoming worthless.
Yet they're budgeting a lot more for ministry of information than that of agriculture.
Why don't they criminalize polygamy or educate people on the importance of family planning?
What are they doing there if they can't find solutions to the country's problems. Bunch of unintelligent failures.
Nigeria had options in the last election but as usual it was reduced to just two. Probably one of the reasons why we keep jumping from one incompetent leader to the other.

I can give you a kiss for the bolded kiss kiss. Why Nigerians choose the 2 worse options out of the many options we had is just beyond me.
