sir/ma if all what you said about Okin is true, then I weep for Islam.. why would a not so good reciter of the holy Quran be celebrated by Nigerians including myself, pls why didn't his Alfa sheik faruq tutored him, and me be thinking he is the best no thanks to my flaw knowledge on Arabic and our bastardise groups of Islamic scholars

This is so wrong, Okin is good and he is a good reciter also, you like him or not doesn't give you reasons to condemn him. He just turned it into business for himself

Who's Okin? We are talking of reciters not someone who's suppose to go back to learn how to recite Quran. Sweet voice is not all that is required in Quran recitation, but adequate knowledge of Tajweed. The basic makharijal huruf he doesn't have. Sister please don't mention Okin ooo, he's no where near it
