Nigerians can be so subjective when I comes to political and ethnic issues.
I may not be a fan of Buhari but people should learn to criticise objectively. 1 Like |

even if what the president said is true, does it whip up positive or negativ sentiments against Nigerians?? If it whips up negative sentiments against nigerians then that statement did more harm than good. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Bullsh*t! Nigeria good people great nation!! It's politicians that have destroyed our reputation @home and abroad, not hard working people that have gone to seek greener pastures abroad, not for themselves mind u, but to take care of their families back home. To make something of themselves in a land where merit is respected not federal character. As for crime, we no thief reach oyinbo people. Disparaging your fellow citizens can never be mistaken for rebranding anywhere in the world. What Mr president has done is the same as a father calling his daughter a prostitute in the presence of her potential suitors, and at d same time being confused when they refuse to continue courtship. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Some of u wil just be making comment for the sake of making op. The president is very correct to have come out even internationally to redeem our image by calling us to order. Go to common india the number of nigerian serving Jail term wil amaze u.. The president is just calling on us to be law abiding n if u can make a good living abroad come back home so we can mak d country great instead of tarnishing our image abroad. And from his briefing worldwide u wil realise he his d best thing happening to us at the moment pls. Let's us not lie; n that's why the previous regime made away our national treasury cos many of us in dis from share sentiments of liers which we're conversant with. 1 Like 3 Shares |

Bro u nailed it. Buhari is beginning 2 turn 2 a scam. He z doing as past govts hv done. A leader dat wants citizens 2 sacrifice, yet he doesn't want to do any on his part. D budget of 2016, d presidential air fleet, his frequent travels, etc r all examples of his disappointments. 2019 shld jst come fast otil1: 1 Like |

sigiyaya: Some questions you need to ask yourself. Are politicians looting the country like crazy? Are policemen asking for bribes publicly and without shame? Does the country have a culture of jungle justice? Etc. You guys just don't get it. These things that seem normal to you is seen as abnormal to the outside world. Even if you deny what is obvious to everybody, the Internet is there. The outside world is seeing all that is happening in Nigeria and denying it does not make any sense. |

Elosky20:you don't know what you are saying. If one of your son use to pick money from your drawer, can you go to public and tell even your friends that one of your sons do steal from you? Do you know the implications of that statement? Any one of your sons could be the one, so When People meet any of you sons, they would not know who is actually the thief so They will treat all your sons as thieves. Do you know the humiliation Nigerians are subjected to everywhere outside Africa There are statements you should never make outside your home. There are countries who are worst than Nigeria but they don't fight dirty in public. We keep embarrassing ourselves everywhere. Someone should train your president on how to answer questions?? he has really been messing up lately … from calling some people 5%, up to this is bad image for the country. And you stop politicizing everything, This has nothing to do with party. One of our problems is that we play politics with everything, even if lives is at stake. Imagine you even brought up tribal sentiments, you really need help because you are the people causing problems in this country and you will always be the first to blame other people. 2 Likes |

There is no amount of words that can dissuade Nigerians from taking notes of the degrading comments from Buhari, who happened to be the president of Nigeria due to local and international conspiracy, aided by gullible youths. Today, the mess in Nigeria is being compounded because of the inability of present government to prefer solutions to the social and economic problems begging for attention. Where do we start from? Is it the fraudulent budget of 2016? Although, the mistake is made, it will not last for ever. 1 Like |

sigiyaya: Technically i am not a Nigerian. I choose to be when it suits me. And also, you fail to understand that it is not about you or me but US collectively. You all still don't get it. The way the outside world is, is that they don't care if you as an individual is the most honest Nigerian on the planet. What they care about is, are Nigerians in general corrupt? Most people will say all Americans support homosexuality because it is legal right? This is the perception of the outside world. Individually, a lot of Americans are against it. As long as there are policemen shamelessly asking for bribe and politicians flagrantly looting the country, the outside world will continue to see Nigerians as corrupt. The reason why Nigerians don't want to accept collective responsibility is because a lot of them think of only themselves. Most don't even consider themselves Nigerians. If they did, there would be less tribalism. 1 Like |

Excellentmind:oga, your president needs to be trained on how to answer questions in public. Every of his interviews, he commits blunders. from calling a section of Nigeria 5% to this one. This one is worse. if one of your sons used to pick money from your drawer, can you go to public and tell even your friends that one of your sons do steal from you? Do you know the implications of that statement? Any one of your sons could be the one, so When People meet any of you sons, they would not know who is actually the thief so They will treat all your sons as thieves |
