Tho there are restriction in the hostel but those restriction is just little and u can always have your way once u are use to the system. 1. During week days visitors are only allowed in the hostel from 2pm to 10pm and during weekends its from 10am to 10pm . The hall door closes by 12am everyday
2. Gas cooker, television, refrigerator, are not allowed in the hall. But you can bring in stove or electric cooker.
3. Visitors don't sleep over.

There is a common room in all the halls with generators and already subscribed DSTV. The rooms varies through room of two (35k per session but its limited) and also room of three (25k per session ).

The only problem here is that there are limited spaces because some PG student don't even want to leave the hall but even if the porters eventually have there ways in sending them out, the space will still be limited . So everybody can't get the hostel.

For houses outside school, some are nice but expensive ranges from 90k t0 160k depending on the area, while some are not just good at all but still expensive just because its student area. Let me just say seeing better house outside school, not expensive and also not far from school is just luck. So when booking for houses outside school let your budget start from 90k upward you might not spend up to that tho.

I hope have been able to do justice to some questions here.

How would one go about application for a bed space in the hostel. Is it after clearance or when? Pls do you have any idea?

You can't print ke. Try again. U r expected to print Admission letter, acceptance form, application form, acceptance invoice and eligibility form and u r to make photocopies for future purpose.

I just returned from Ibadan and activities were shut down due to the strike situation embarked upon by members of staff of the university, the warning strike graduated into a full fledged strike this morning as almost every office was under lock and keys and there were no PG staff on ground to answer my questions.

any Mphil/PHD applicant in the house ? have recommendation mails been sent to Mphil/PHD applicants just like M.Sc applicants ? if yes, what could be responsible for the failure of a duly qualified applicant not receiving recommendation mail even when he has been recommended by the department ?

Bros which one be clearance invoice? You are to print acceptance invoice and the link is in your portal where you are to input ur reg number and password to generate ur acceptance invoice and its N20,200, how to do your payment is on the invoice.

When you do your payment then you will get an sms that your card is loaded instantly your page will be updated that your acceptance has been paid

Next is wait for the date of your clearance which will be communicated to you via your email.

I think they are still on strike because have tried call the PG school number and its switched Off.

You can't print your admission letter or any other document until your admission has been approved by the deputy registrar and signed. Be patient until your letter is signed.

Everybody will be allowed to access the hostel portal at the same period, and one can only be able to process hostel once you pay the school fees, do your registration and there after pay for the hostel accommodation of which ever category you want. After payment then u will go to the hall with the evidence of payment, after which you will be allocated to room by the hall warden. Take note limited spaces are available, so if you really want the hostel just make sure u have ur school fees ready and also the hostel fee, so u can do ur registration early once the school portal is open and have the hall.

Long leg plenty for hostel matter oooooo.

Bro, which of those rules is not true? Plus for the hot plate it's not allowed but like I said once u come him you will definitely know ur way around the rules because those portals don't even come to check self.

Though the hostel also have its bad side but the good just out weight the bad if we are to look it from the primary assignment of doing masters.
