Scanning the barcode is to verify the status of your transaction(like a direct link).

Ask the café guy how to use or ask UI directly.

The same page says the letters to submit are the same letters you submitted during clearance. Not from the three referees.

The reference letters you submitted during clearance were written by referees, too.

Freshmen have nothing to do with IT levy.. All you're to include in your fees list are Bundled and Accomodation fees. UI is indeed grateful for the extra fee.
