Blackfire:Brother Nigeria customs be relaxed on other contraband goods or other dutiable goods there by loosing revenue in the side of the govt, bt not with arms and amunitions coz there's no possible way for it to pass customs @ the seaport, its a capital offence that will not only make an officer loose his job but sentence life imprisonment or death, unless through our porous borders where they can easily beat security protocols |

Before now and uptill now, the US has not made it easy for government of Nigeria to access and import all the necessary weapons for use in this important war against terror. How comes it was easy for individual to access and import arm from the same US? Importation of foods and necessaries had been put on hold by the present administratoion, which has resulted into hike in prices of all commodities; how could arms succeed in being brought in? These are few of many questions begging for answer. |

Good1, but why is it that in Nigeria when they arrest some1 or illegal materials which we know is dangerous to the society, the security do not disclose the person's name, picture and biodata so that people will know him or her and assists in gathering information on his allies. Or does it mean Nigerian securities don't watch foreign news and watch movie to learn on how to tackle such situations? Or the securities are afraid that the criminal may be a family member of their boss? Or what? |

MrsPhyno: Private gun ownership is not legal in Nigeria, to the best of my knowledge, so obviously, this is just a case of a person who would like to have a gun trying to get one in through the back door. They found 1 pistol and 980 9mm rounds... it would be meaningless for any criminal outfit to import 1 pistol all the way from the US, and bullets are already readily and easily available across the Sahel anyway. Customs guys making a mighty mountain out of a molehill. |

the arms is for boko haram and the dead biafra. Nigerians ought to have seen this coming.. it's time to disown our western partners and embrace Russia, china,India and Latin America. the future of our earth depends on this... the world's terrorist and its NATO alliance or africom plans are nothing but evil. time to sanction dollar at national level. stop selling any oil in dollar.. now it needs measure and buhari did this back in the day.. time to start going to the countries we are buying anything from and getting direct bank letter of credit. for example, if we are dealing with china.. time to start using our national currency and yuan directly via reserves boycotting dollar or any third part form of payment.. -time to boycott any transaction that will pass thru any u.s bank or intermediary.. time to create out own swift transfer within west Africa and to any of the countries we are buying anything from... -time to sanction anything demanding dollars or boycotting it to maximum level and promote anything demanding naira as medium of exchange. time for central bank to re-structure itself and not listen to crooks manupulating dollars in the u.s. -time to strengthen regional or African trade more than international.. -time to start buying what we produce like innoson cars, aba made shoes.. time to stop dollar trip and go to trip with the country that we are using common or mutual currency in transaction or better within west africa. this can be done with loads of energy. time to do what is right once and for all... after what i mentioned above is done.. then we can be proud of ourselves as a nation and a well respected one.. |
