OK,

But where does it say they were invited?

Why would we invite someone who cannot afford it??

-Who ran to the media? Denel.

- Why did Denel consider it necessary to name names, Denel.

-Which media outlet chose to publish the report, Defenceweb.

All of them South-African. Not even a tweet from the NAF.

I bet if i was standing 2 feet in-front of that missile, it would still miss. Obsolete piece crap half-french helicopter. Not even Somalia would buy that helicopter which can't do what it's supposedly built to do....... Hit a target.

Thanks for proving again how obsolete the half-french is. I'm 100% sure the delegations would have "buhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha"...... Rolling on the floor!

Tell me 3 major game changing defense procurements Nigeria has made in the past six years.?

Stay your lane

If you had an inch of a brain remotely functional you would probably have seen these,

- the use of UAVs across of 3 services

- the procurement and use UCAV in combat, the 3rd country in the world to do so

- the deployment of ELINT compliant surveillance assets

- the launch and use of satellite technology for surveillance and mapping

- the procurement and installation of a state of the art COBR facility

- the procurement and deployment of a locally designed satellite enabled naval management system

- procurement of advanced MI-35M, MI-17Terminator Helos

- the procurement of Stealth ships

- the local design of a Bomb disposal robot with an onboard jammer

You see the problem is, you don't think. I have no problem with you wanting to remain ignorant..... As long as you don't try drag Nigeria into your stup1dity, i'm fine with that.

Certified retarrrd!!
All you mentioned up there are sixth grade research projects, for a supposed giant of Africa.
The problem is you are a zombie, sorry a village zombie with no exposure .
Heck the Egyptians don't need this thread to measure cocks and feel good about themselves cos they know they would glass almost and every sub Saharan country in weeks.
That's the kind of military I want for Nigeria

Once a fool, always a fool. It is very impossible for a missile to hit a target using another platforms (gripen) laser beam and launch a missile at a long range of over 8km and still narrowly missed the target. It is not an easy task. Currently, there is no any gunship that can do that, not even Apache AH-64.

I quote:

The first firing involved the Rooivalk successfully firing the missile at a target that was laser designated from the ground. The second firing the following day was not quite as smooth - the target was laser designated by a Gripen flying overhead. The Rooivalk launched the missile at a range of 8 km, which followed the laser beam from the Gripen, but narrowly missed the target Quote closed.

That means the mighty ROOIVALK can do what other gunships cannot do by demolishing targets using other platforms laser beams and not its own laser designators. grin

HENRY DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THIS AND NEITHER IS AGAUGUST.

Those are the capabilities of Rooivalk, meaning Gripen and other platforms can as well laser guide weapons lauched by Rooivalk to take out Air defence systems.

What @Henry240 and @Agaugust also don't get, is that the tests were carried out almost 5 years ago back in 2011 using telemetry missiles.

Just a few months ago they tried to disregard a source of mine that dated back to 2012, now all of a sudden they are trying to draw conclusions on tests done back in 2011.......talk about being hypocritical!!!!!!!!!!

What those two fools don't know is that Mokopa is a long range precision guided munition that requires great deal of training to master. It has a 10 km range and most powerful attack helicopters in the world do not use weapons of that calibre. They will have to know that at that distance gunships barely see the target and at times will depend on secondary platforms like ground laser beams and other fighter jets laser beams. That was why SANDF firstly dragged their feet to acquire Mokopa because it would require further costs for training in order to use such a long range ATGM. Those two guys still have a lot to learn about military hardwares.

Idiot you are the biggest full here.

Tell me what Algeria and Egypt produce locally that makes them have a blue water Navy.

Fool tell me a country with 4 frigate and 3 submarines have a full Navy.

Idiot we are all incomplete in one way or the other. Nigerian Navy boast of over 100 vessels Vs South Africa that have less than 20 vessels. Even with 50% of the vessels active we still have more than double of what they have patrolling our water.
Your dull brain didn't tell you frigate and submarines will not have anything to do for us at the moment even South Africa now use their frigates for patrol roles that our OPVs and IPVs are currently doing and even stripped off missiles on thier fast attack craft and is been used for patrol as we speak.

As we speak tell any country that is a threat to Nigeria in sub-Sahara Africa? Not even South Africa we boast of such.

NNS Aradu for over 30 years never had any meaningful thing to do for the Navy but several other smaller ships have. Am assuring you that South African meko frigates will get old with same issue. The 4 meko frigate and 3 submarines altogether is less than $2 billion dollars tell me we don't have the money to buy them. The are good assets but not important as we speak.

Big fool, do your even know how many vessels are now being built in Lagos, and port Harcourt yearly?

If you know nothing about the procurement of Nigerian military for the pass 3 year you shouldn't be spitting shiit out. Ignorant fool.

So you now feel the Navy should be celebrated cos I show you light. We can equally educate you about airforce and the army by comparing them with other in Sub-Sahara Africa. Am not saying we are where we are suppose to be but considering the fact that the force was not funded properly for over 20 years and we are still where we are. Even Dicon was not funded during this period.
