2017 budget will beat record... ₦1 quadrillion!, all the social sectors will be substantially finance to trillions ₦, poverty will be completely eradicated and by the end of year 2018 Nigeria will be declared a developed state and classify one of the first three country in the index of human .
I know you will argue on how this can happen with the economics situation of today, low foreign reserve, low oil price, with depreciation of ₦.
yes oil price is down, foreign reserve is dry but we still have foreign looted fund reserve at hand! when recovered and well managed, it won't be problem to have money for this budget!
we can only pray that a $ hit ₦1000 and all $1 trillion looted recovered!
I know for sure that with the determination of this government and the support of foreign nation to help recovered all $ trillion looted it will happen.....$1 trillion recovered and change to ₦ will give us ₦1 quadrillion needed to financ that budget!
year 2017 bye bye to poverty!
See mad economist.

Buhari says, if Jonathan had won the elections, the dollar would have hit N1000/$1.
It is currently at almost N400/$1, a sharp drop from N180/$1 when Jonathan left office nine months
I have never ever heard a more convoluted balderdash in my life of what a nonsense this useless old man called Buhari can gutter out of his mouth.
Rather than tweak his hay headed economic policies, Buhari finds refuge behind his familiar whipping boy: Jonathan even nearly one yr in power. Many Buhari supporters and Southwest Zombies talk flippantly about the rot and corruption that Buhari inherited from Jonathan, as reason for the deepening gloom that Nigeria is convulsing into. Indeed there was sleaze as is the wont in Nigeria for decades before and during Jonathan and including in this administration.
But we must ask: What is the depth of the rot Buhari met? Anybody with clear facts? Did industries close shops? Did banks close shops? Were schools, hospitals and power supply shut down? Was infrastructure, roads, rail, airports etc destroyed? Was there a major war? If it is corruption, exactly how much was stolen and how many people have been convicted or even taken to trial in almost a year? Was the Naira not N180/$1?
Buhari should stop hiding his incompetence behind Jonathan and unproven allegations. He should roll up his sleeves and get down to work. Enjoying the pomp, pageantry and paraphernalia of office is not same as getting things done. In fact we need Jonathan back right.

Do u know how well GEJ tried in diversifying our economy with agriculture, mines and steel. He did a good job. We both commended Adesina and Aganga 4 their works. But wat we needed is to keep that pace. But buhari is drawing us back. U can't totally diversify even in 10years. It takes time. And it's obvious Buhari will drag us back. They would av left GEJ for continuity.

I speak for Jonathan's 5years. Cos I follow individual not party. Jonathan did well in diversifying through manufacture, automobile, agriculture, mines and steel. We all commended Adesina and Aganga for their meritious work. My brother u can't diversify even in 10years. But buhari should av hit the ground running with wat he met on ground but rather we are slowed down. Governance is continuity. My stake is that if GEJ had continue we would av been better of in diversifying. Just go and browse Nigeria Non-oil IGR. Wat GEJ met and wat he left with. Let's call a spade, a spade. The choice of buhari's ministers and this budget of corruption already shows Buhari is not d man for this job.

Just two sentences and you show that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

Until True Federalism is implemented, Nigeria won't be able to increase the different types of exportable products she can exchange for dollar.
So tell your god Buhari to send a bill to the National Assembly urging his Northern colleagues to join their Southern Colleagues to enthrone true federalism through the law.

True federalism will diversify the economy?
It is Buharis job to implement true federalism?
This country definitely has IQ problems. Just throw in a big word and everything will be okay abi? .
Where is it written in the constitution that it is the Presudents job to implement true federalism,. It is nobody's job.
However everything connected to administrative structure starts in the Nationsk Assembly. It is they who kick start constitution ammendments that lead to revenue allocation and what should be doing versus what federal government shoukd be doing.

There is already sone fiscal federalism now. All payee taxes go to states. They can also levy all nanner of taxes of any kind.

Mineral rights belong to the Federak government but States can firn companies to develop any mineral resource including oil as JV with the FG and pay taxes and royalties to the FG . Bayelsa can hace its own Shell. The problem is people dobt use their brsins during voting. There are many things that states have the power to do that they are not doing. If you give Bayelsa State to Murray Vruce who has run organizations before you will get a result, if you give it to Mama Peace because if atavustic local brained sentiments you get a different result .

Tell Buhari to send a bill to the National Assembly urging his Northern colleagues to join their Southern Colleagues to enthrone true federalism

[b]The earlier u all get the gist the better for us all. if u add value to the economy and u really need dollars kindly apply to the banks and if u meet the requirements u will be given at the below rate and u continue to add to the economy.
However if u need dollars for luxuries, goods cbn has stopped funding with dollars, holidays etc u are on ur own. Go look for ur dollar elsewhere
Have we wondered why Nigerian manufacturers (MAN) arent complaining? have u wondered why that tomato selling woman in the market doesnt care or know what u are talking about because they arent affected? its because their business seems to be picking up by Nigerians now looking inwards. its we the elite that are feeling the heat and not the poor.
Gone are the days when we have serious reserves and Govt will continue to gurantee all our frivolities. Now, for frivolities, u are on ur own. The interest of the extremely weak is this govt priority and not the overfed. Many shouting here aimlessly are not even affected in anyway about the rise in the parallel market. Those receiving free dollars before cant and have gone in the parrallel market making it saturated and price high.
When they finally get their dollars at extremely high rate and choose to import, on getting to our borders, they also pay huge tax to the govt so by the time the goods get to the end shop, it becomes ridiculously expensive for the buyer. The question is if the buyer doesnt buy the luxury good, will he die?
I have reasons to import spare parts for my vehicles and to be honest, its ridicously high now. Govt is forcing me to start looking towards Innosun...............for my selfish self, thats not ok but for the overall good, its the best.

So Jonathan would have performed magic and held the naira at N200 to $1 even when crude prices falls to $30. If Jonathan had such magical powers, i am sure he will be highly sought after in Russia, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela and Azerbaijan. All these countries are facing the same economic crisis as their economies depends on mainly crude exports.

Read this article;
Russia
As one of the world's largest oil producers, Russia has been a prominent victim of the plunging prices.
About half of Russia's budget revenues currently come from energy exports.
The rouble is also under pressure from economic sanctions that the West imposed on Russia for its involvement in the Ukraine conflict.
On Monday, the national currency dropped to new lows, with the exchange rate dipping to 79 roubles to the dollar and 86 roubles to the euro - something not seen since December 2014.

Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia's income from oil fell by 23% last year, highly significant in an economy where around 73% of total revenues comes from the industry.
The country announced a budget deficit nearing $100bn (£68bn).

Venezuela
Venezuela has the world's biggest known oil reserves, and oil exports account for as much as 95% of the country's revenues.
However, the huge fall in oil prices in the past 18 months has slashed revenues by 60%.
On Saturday, Venezuela's government announced a 60-day economic emergency to deal with a worsening economic crisis. The edict includes tax increases and puts emergency measures in place to pay for welfare services and food imports.
