But wait ooo. Shey the king don marry... no fit happen for yoruba land jawe

Happens all over the world actually. There's a female regent in one of the western states who's in a polytechnic at this time so she's probably less than 20 or so!

What I suspect is that like in the case of the Dein of Agbor when he was crowned as a baby, a regent will be appointed to rule till he's fairly older.

Where are those noise makers such as Ugomba, tonychristopher, cheruv and co? Have you seen it that Anioma people trace their history to Bini and not the other way round? Are those not evidence of Bini influence? Anioma people are not igbo people but Bini people. They answer igbo names as a result of the proximity with other igbo neighbouring villages.
mumu,im from anioma.....so wearing beads means benin?......we are igbos.no dey force us....thanks

Long live the king. Kings are born not made. I love from father to son kingship. Not autonomous kingship we are seeing today. From the begining of time it wasn't like that.

15-year-old Son Of Murdered Delta Monarch Emerges Nigeria's Youngest King

The 15-year-old son of kidnapped king of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM Obi Akaeze Ofulue III, who was killed by his abductors in January 2016, has ascended the throne of his forefathers. The deceased 52-year-old king was on 5th January 2016 abducted by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Obior/ Igbodo Road, Delta State, along with his driver. The monarch's corpse was found at Ekpon in Edo State at 3p.m. on 21st January 2016.

The new king is Obi (King) Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I, and he has been presented to the people of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom. The presentation of the 15-year-old king followed the fulfillment of different traditional rites that led to his crowning by the kingmakers of Ubulu-Uku. Obi (King) Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I was first presented to the members of the Royal family before the presentation to the council of elders at the palace.

The brief presentation ceremony was attended by prominent citizens of the kingdom including the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Mrs. Onyemaechi Mrakpor; President-General of Ubulu-Uku Development Union, Comrade Jones Ofunne; chairman of Aniocha South council, Mr. Isaac Anwuzia, traditional chiefs and title holders in the kingdom, religious leaders, women, youths and other stakeholders.

Ubuluku (Oboro) in Benin was a vassal chiefdom to Benin Empire, certainly during the reign of Oba Akengbuda (1750-1804).
It was during this period that Ogie Oboro (ruler of Ubuluku) came to Benin for confirmation/validation of his title. In Benin, he saw the beautiful daughter of Chief Ezomo of Benin, the Field Commander of Benin Imperial Army. Her name was Adesua. Adesua refused his advances, even insulting him as a bush ruler.

Adesua was already betrothed to the Oba.

Ogioboro somehow lured Adesua to Oboro. When she refused his further advances, he had her murdered.

War was declared on Oboro, with express order to bring Ogioboro's head to Benin. And that's what happened.

Like all provincial dukes and chiefs of those days, ogioboro would have been given insignia of office including Ada (scimitar), Eben (sword), coral beads, mode of dressing, etc.

Those insignia (ada & eben) are still clearly designed into the back of the chair.

There is a Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen Nollywood film called "Adesuwa" featuring Olu Jacobs (as Ezomo n'uti), Bob Manuel (as Ogioboro) based on it.

Elaborate sir. Events, battles, figures/personalities and dates would help enlighten all of us.

I can claim to be the first to land on the moon. Without it been recorded in history and folklore, it cannot be seen as probable/true 200 years from now. cheesy grin

Is it a crime or sin to marry two wives? Did Biblical kings (e.g. David) who servd GOD not marry mor dan one wife? Was dia marryin of mor dan one wife countd as sin against them? What d Bible is against is fornicatn nd adultery which many hypocritic men who claim to marry just one wife ar guilty of today!
