Girls need close marking from their parents. They easily go astray. |

My dad believed in letting us be free while my mom believed we had enough sense to make the right decisions. They never held me back at anytime from doing whatever harebrained thing I decided, so I learnt from my own foolishness, lol. I had male friends all over the place and my parents didn't care if I hung around them. If they saw me talking to a guy, they would just move along as if nothing was happening. Although if I was hanging around too much to a particular guy, my father would begin asking me questions... Who is he? What does he do? And when I told him, that was all, he wouldn't bother me anymore, besides I hung around cool guys, not lowlifes and losers. I had really free parents. They had their issues but they were really free. |

refiner:How can a woman that got a beautiful daughter like you that won't be protective op? You are too pretty to let go hence your mummy's attitude. When unwanted pregnancy comes now, the blame would end up on her desk as a bad mother who never brought up her daughter well. For now, hang in with her advise cus she has seen it all. Many guys are too deceitful these days unlike their own time. |

My mum isn't the overprotective type lol but my pops makes up for that in spades I doubt my mum would say anything if she saw me sitting on a guys lap. I'd tell her he's a friend and she'd be like "ah OK" ![]() |

I have some questions for the OP. Was it really the download that took U there? Because girls of your age seek legitimacy for an outing that appear deceitful and only a careful parent may consider or take notice. And are U the one on DP? And you don't know how to download Adobe except U meet a guy? That's doubtful at that age. Again ur comments of mums being overprotective is because of what your type are doing as the earliest taste of sex make some go wild and would trick a parent to sneak and have it at a risk of unwanted pregnancy. Save us parents please the headache and embarrassments of all that. Which mother will be told by a girl child she's going to be deflowered and the mother wld allow that, it's always a hidden affairs until bubble burst. You will be shocked to hear that ur girl claiming to be on JAMB lessons is on a guy or the teacher's bed, or the girl U sent on an errand to the market or somewhere has decided to add her own plans to go Bleep or have a quickie before returning home. It's possible too that your mother was sneaky in her teenage years and with benefits of hindsight is now being careful not to allow U fumble over what she did or handled well and perhaps also failed and learned lessons the hard way. You can cry a river and shade mothers but note that you will be a mother too in life. Hope this jabs and shades U are making now will not come hunting U. Just allow parents and be appreciative of their fears for U. |
