Hello Mamas, legendsmother of laive this show face u dey do na flashing ooo, and it is not allowed. tongue

@ fvine lol with the word 'fat'. Sorry o about the lime lemon issue, I heard from a woman gynaecologist on TV that lime is not good for women ttc cuz it is more acidic in the body but lemon is good for women ttc , she even suggest lemon for women ttc but advice not to take lime. According to her sef she said lime might cause early miscarriage and watery sperm but lemon will help to balance body PH

Thanks for the correction. I stand corrected. I've heard that Lime is quite controversial in ttc some say it's ok but majority say it's not. But everyone agrees that Lemon is safe for ttc and all round so make we just run comot from the controversial lime. Will substitute the Lime in @ Ayaayo recipe with lemon, hopefully it works too. @ Ayaayo please see miraclefromGod correction. Let's stay away from the controversial lime. Whenever I try it, I'll share how it worked for me. grin

And yes Lime is very bad for Men, weakens the swimmers. That na true talk. Gbam!

Drop of brown blood at night before the full flow is nothing to be worried about. 26 days cycle is OK. But you need to find out when you ovulate cos it will help you to BD at the right time and also check how many days you have after ovulation to the day of your next period to be sure you don't have a luteal phase defect which is easily corrected with Vit B6 or Vit B Complex.

Abeg AF is another opportunity to conceive, after AF comes Ovulation. Praise God and enjoy your Ginger/Garlic tea and confess in praise to God that this is your cycle for your healthy bfp.

my lovely mamas in the house i tink this pcos is a new strategy from the pit of hell, was diagnosed yesterday with a cyst ,also on the chubby side ,all my life i have been on one weightloss program or product but once i stop i gain all the weight back.

Now gynae placed me on metformin, he says it will help in reducing my appetite for food and later shrink the cyst as this is stopping me from ovulating.

pls can i take serrapaptase and metformin together?

@ayashow you are not alone on this i also tot the mild pain i experience monthly on cd 13 with lots of vagina discharge was ovulation pain.

God cannot lie,all shall be well with us IJN

Your gynae is correct, most pcos (fat cysters) have been able to loose weight and conceive while on metformin. I'll suggest you also include portion control and eating Healthy, with exercise (walking is very good) while on the drug it will help you. The diet for PCOS women is low Carbohydrates, high protein, Lots of Vegetables and low Glycemic Index Fruits. That is Fruits like English Pear, Apple that don't cause a sudden and high spike in insulin when consumed. Lots of water and exercise too, even just walking works.

I don't know about the interaction of both drugs as a fact but women on some online forums have combined the both drugs successfully.

What one should be careful of is combining Maca with other supplements. Maca works very well in balancing the hormones on its own but interacts negatively with other hormone related supplements. This includes any phytoestrogens, progesterone creams, DIM and even Evening Primrose Oil. I just learnt this an decided to share.

hello again, please thanks for your advices earlier started using some of them already..we threw away our cup of sugar and replaced with honey, DH calculated my BMI and its above normal about 27.4 surprisingly... I don't look overweight one bit, so first we thought it was the app and had to download 2 more which gave the same results. b4 I hit the gym I'm buying a skipping rope tomorrow. So please I want to know, are there exercises that re unfit for a ttc woman? again I asked about what I can do to improve AF which lasts only 2½ days, haven't gotten any response. help a sister please. thank you and baby dust to us all in the the name of Jesus! Amen
It's good that you and your DH are making healthy choices. Am also in the same boat as you, a slightl overweight bmi while I don't even look it. My current bmi is 26.8, Dress size is 10 up and 12 down, am more like a Size 11. Don't sweat it much there are other things that add more to our weights like muscle, bone and water which is good, the bad part is if you have a high body fat percentage. Right now I prefer to go with measurements and my dress size. I think Size 10-12 is the average healthy best for women. Am aiming for a comfortable Size 10.

Go light on the exercise please, heavy exercise will increase stress and the release of cortisol in high levels which is bad for the health and ttc. You might not need to necessarily hit the gym. You can take walks, run/walk intermix, at home aerobic exercises too. When I used to be heavy on exercise, I was more comfortable exercising at home than using the gym. So I bought Leslie Sansones Walk at home DVD and also used her several Walk/Aerobic based exercises on You tube. I believe walk and aerobic based exercises are safer for ttc and pregnancy in my opinion. Light weights are also good but has to be light weights like say 2kg on each arm.

For your AF, please try the Ginger/Garlic juice, Garlic thins the blood and increases blood flow, increases blood circulation and also reduces Cholesterol and the bad fats in the body. So it could be beneficial for you. @ Pweetymii and @ miraclefromGod can provide you with the recipe. Take care.

Avoid Stress including Physical and Psychological stress, stress helps nothing, makes thing bad.

Sis just ignore him, that's the best, I've learnt and decided to do so after taking on him severally I believe last week. You know the popular saying, "Silence is the best answer for a f..l" I think that suits him best. He's been advised to go and practice on the Obstetrics/Gynaecology Thread and not here but he still pops in once in a while to make inciting comments hoping for people to take him on and derail the thread/conversation. You need to check some of his posts here to understand what am saying, one was on point while others were very inciting even saying that some women with certain stuff can never conceive. Can't remember how he put it. Just Ignore, don't bother replying him. Have a happy day.

@fvine and wholesome grace, thank u very much. D fibroid is outside the uterine. Pls how do I detoxify? and mamas with the issue pls help me with the processes to shrink it. I honestly do not what it to grow bigger. I will also avoid any food that will enlarge it. Thanks for the word of encouragement.

You see, nothing to worry about just like your Dr said, it's outside the uterus and also small so won't affect anything. What you can do is buy Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar or any Vinegar with the Mother still in it, also buy Unsulphured Black Strap Molasses, mix both in water and drink at least once a day. Also do Castor Oil Pack Therapy. I believe since its on the outside and very small, I believe it will respond to these popular Fibroid shrinking treatment. I think Subserous Fibroids are the ones that shrink and shrink fast. Submucous (inside the womb) is the witch Fibroid.

2. Can't remember exact cost of SFA but it wasn't more than 5k, can't also remember cost of hormonal profile but wasn't more than 18k or so

Cherrymum pls no vex for the idiot, he's just craving for attention. Let's all ignore him as if he didn't exist. When he finish blabbing he go waka comot here

[ author=cherrymum post=43238252]

Ayaayo what he is saying isn't fair at all. I TTCd for 7yrs. In those 7yrs I never tasted contraceptive all my life I've never used it. I dont even know how much it is sold sef. I have never had an abortion or miscarriage but I just never got pregnant. Pls how is that a fault of mine. Anytime I do scan the scan people will be screing "this womb is beautiful no fibroid no this no that" but it still didnt happen. when it happend I was 19wks gone and i didnt know sef. science is not everything. if we knew how and what to do who will be coming here to ask questions. is it fun to be spending money for baby things on all d fertilaid, guifeibao and all. these things arent cheap na. It's not by how much sex or how little sex u have or late marriage or thick sperm, it's of GOD THAT SHOWETH MERCY!!!

What he did pained me o. Except the God I serve resigns, retires or goes to sleep, this man will see everyone here move to preggy thread and with his so called science degrees God will forsake him![/quote]

As fvine said garlic and ginger are very good to use also if u are taken drug cuz of MP it will be better for you to stop cuz i heard it minimize the flow of blood. And about the BMI calculation i have never done it before o just tried it this morning and what i saw really scared me cuz am a very thin person so i dont think that could possible my bmi. Can someone explain how to calculate for me please?

There's a formula for it but am Maths lazy except when it comes to money (yes am Igbo) grin What I do is to use bmi calculators found online and in phone app download stores. With the calculators, you just type in your weight and height and it will give you your bmi result. Just try that.
