Brains, just like beauty, is genetically determined.

I put it to you now, no matter how hard you try to read, You will never ever get a 5.0 CGPA unless your native Intelligence is beyond a certain point.

So both the guy and the girl are both lucky in a way. lucky to have talents or gifts that other people desire.

Now, the girl possesses a beauty. beauty makes people like you. intelligence doesn't. trust me, As an intelligent guy, I know how people will resent you and hate you because you're smarter than them. so how does that help anyone?
In the end, your intelligence is meant to work in a much bigger picture. and if you work towards it, It will reward you far more than beauty will.

I'm saying this because Nigerians seem to be forgetting one fact. Jumoke isn't smart. she wasn't born smart. she never got an education. Are you guys now saying she doesn't deserve to be celebrated just because she doesn't have intellect? that's discrimination. man. Some days ago, I was at a secondary school in Surulere (across the bridge from the Island) in Lagos for a friend's event where he is educating secondary students about the perils of peer pressure. I honestly wasn't expecting what I saw as the state of this secondary school.
It left me wondering if this was a school or a dump yard. Why in heaven's name are Nigerian leaders looking the other way while the young ones study in this sorry environment?
