Most of the people who invented those things are not even graduate..some never even attended a better college..talent or beauty pays better than education not only in Nigeria but in the world at large.

Here I come with my unpopular opinion.

Brains, just like beauty, is genetically determined.

I put it to you now, no matter how hard you try to read, You will never ever get a 5.0 CGPA unless your native Intelligence is beyond a certain point.

So both the guy and the girl are both lucky in a way. lucky to have talents or gifts that other people desire.

Now, the girl possesses a beauty. beauty makes people like you. intelligence doesn't. trust me, As an intelligent guy, I know how people will resent you and hate you because you're smarter than them. so how does that help anyone?
In the end, your intelligence is meant to work in a much bigger picture. and if you work towards it, It will reward you far more than beauty will.

I'm saying this because Nigerians seem to be forgetting one fact. Jumoke isn't smart. she wasn't born smart. she never got an education. Are you guys now saying she doesn't deserve to be celebrated just because she doesn't have intellect? that's discrimination. man. Not every one can be smart. people have different talents and should be celebrated for it. If jumoke likes the glamour, why not give it to her?

When I was in University, Mr nd Mrs SUG or face of this, face of that, miss hostel this, miss hostel, miss Carryover etc, are usually sponsored and supported by Big Companies who give them cars, money nd scholarship....

While Best Engine Drawing student which I was in my department in Year 1 got NOTHING, I REPEAT NOTHING..... Instead girls wanted to exploit me for my small knowledge in subsequent Exams...

This is just a small personal example, not that I am bragging (there is even nothing to brag about)
