Well,my doctor said not to use it.something about not wanting to have me insert the applicator up there. I did not ask any further to be honest.

^^^ everyone was probably waiting for the medical experts to answer you. Remember there are a lot of FTM ums on this forum who cannot answer your questions never having experienced such. I had to ask my in-house Dr your question and he said not hing to worry about. Elective CS is different from emergency CS. Lots of mums bounce back from CS within a few hrs. Even going thru this thread, you will find a lot of mothers who had CS - both elective and emergency and they are here, gisting with us within a few days. Remember the most important thing: baby alive, mum alive, daddy alive, plenty of money!!

Just relax and put your trust in God. Worrying solves nothing

You need to be calm and prepare yourself mentally and spiritually to welcome your baby.

Since you've been asked to come for elective CS, it appears your doctors know what they are doing and they do not want to take any chances. Elective CS in my own opinion is even more convenient and safer than emergency CS (which was what I went through to have my baby).

So relax, eat well, start positive confessions, start rejoicing and singing songs of thanksgiving. On the day of your CS, dress well, apply makeup wink

, look very good and catwalk into the theatre and catwalk out with your baby in your arms.

God has brought you this far and he will continue to see you through.

My sister I did elective CS nothing to worry, u will be ask to go for fasting not to eat or drink anything to enable your system to be entry, the woman that did emergency CS they brought her from home that day, I think her water boost and maybe the baby was breech or transverse, since the water has boost and the baby wasn't down virginal she has to go for immediately CS., BUT For elective you are booked for it, body system will be checked. That is what I know

Even a normal sized bucket with tight lid will do.
When I bought sterilizing unit, I got Avent. It had the bottles, brush, pacifier and bucket with lid. Then I got sterilizing tablets.
I dont know much about boots.

Like zaynie, I also use the avent steriliser. It sterilises in about 5 mins. Mine also came with 4 bottles, brush and pacifier and I bought three additional avent bottles.

Im not a fan of tablet or liquid sterilisers because I do not like the way they smell and the thought of soaking my baby's bottles in some "chemical" just doesn't sit well with me.

Boots products are really good. Used it for 5 months for my baby (just the bath soap, shampoo and liquid wash) before switching to sebamed because of all the hype I read here about it. Although I still use the boots night time bath. For my baby's skin, I have used strictly coconut from birth till date.

my neighbour had this same carefree attitude, she was negligent towards herself and her baby. she was given folic acid and other drugs. she gave birth and the baby had spina bifida and other complications. the doctor asked if she took routine drugs she said no, coz she couldn't stand the smell and she was feeling nausea. the parents went through a lot they had to refer them to a specialist hospital in Enugu. after the whole thing four months latter they lost the baby. this is just the preamble of the what happened.

So person wey get ear make him hear. nobody dey pray for bad thing to happen but make we seff they take matter serious.

Safe delivery to all sweet mother, #mother alive, baby alive, husband alive and plenty money IJN#

penicillin ointment will do. Bt pls u have to be very kiaful wit were you go urinating.i know we are prone to frequent urination but u can contact infection and its very risky 4 ur LO

Just relax ur mind. I had an emergency cs and ws glad it ws done. At day 2 I ws walking around and cleaning myself. Day3 my plaster ws removed and I started taking my bath and ws discharged d next day with my LO.
All u need to do Is pray to have Godsent medical and non medical teams during d procedure.

I had a cerclage, preterm contractions with admission 3times and had emergency Cs also...my baby is 2months 3days today. It will definitely end in praise by HIS GRACE. I was scared but we prayed before and during the CS funny I was even discussing with the doctors while they were closing me up. It will end in praise

You're not derailing, all na preggo-related question. Staying away from sex during the 2ww is what i believe led to my pregnancy after trying unsuccessfully for some few months. So yes, i think it can hinder conception in some cases
