I think u mistook the road safety approval for civil defence. Like I said earlier he is probably posing for a photo with a policeman's rifle. See d police van parked nxt to theirs. Road safety won't get to start using rifles without doing enough public sensitization.

Dis one is not welcome anything ooo. because if dey need guns, then VIO go soon need gun and den yellow fever follows and den all hell breaks loose on our roads. What dey need is to improve on some innovations and their rapid response. Get them more vehicles especially ambulances if possible. Since dey are mostly the first responders to accident scenes, dey could save more lives with EMT training.

Cause in 2015 I was privilege to work as a sales person in a shop Opposite their office in maraba nasarawa state and I do see some of them with guns and in the polo shirt they put on, it read "combatants" with a gun and a knife drawing crossing like X... Hope you satisfied?

NDLEA officers use rifles on the road, so I think certain FRSC officers need to be armed.
