In as much as 260 is ok he might be right, their marking system might not be dat great only problem is dat he brought it here to some of the most unserious people dat wont help u at all instead wud be rendering unnecessary banter nd silly points dat lacks any iota sense at all.

Lol. Felt same way when I saw my scores too. As long as it was enough to get me my first choice uni then, I didnt bother. No Nairaland,so my parents were my soothening balm.

I advice you let go bro. You have bigger battles to fight when you get to uni.

I felt the same way when I wrote JAMB and a friend told me I had 237.
When I checked my results, I saw that I inadvertently chose Literature
among the subjects I wrote instead of Maths.
I was applying for a Computer Science admission
and needed to have Maths, Chemistry, Physics and English.
While I scored above 60 in the other courses, I had 28 in Literature.
This made my friends mock me then, they joked that I was applying for ComputoLiterature.

I would advise you begin prep for your post UTME. Good luck

I scored 87, but I know I deserve more.

After 5 years of trying, I am supposed to be scoring atleast 250 without reading, just on experience alone.

JAMB is just the devils exam sent to frustrate me in this life.

If I spent these last 5 years learning a trade in Onitsha, by now I would be an Oga in my own shop.

OP, the magnanimity of your ignorancy and arrogancy is beyond any of my comprehensible comprehension.
You just sat for an exam plainly objective and magnanimosly chaired by technology. Yet, your self aggrandisement is fooling you pronosio.
Anyway, i believe you are a young chap and you might not know this. The mathematics that was set in that exam had so many possible and closely related answers. It is very possible you choose wrongly and erred by thinking it was the correct answer.
BTW, if there is anything to go by in your post, it would be the rediness you sowed into your exams, that is a good one, so thumbs up to you.

Be careful, do not challenge Jamb and please embbed yourself into more reading and sow more lugarbity of time into preparing for your post UTME exams.

My name is Nonso from Anambra state. I, as a matter of fact, sat for this year's JAMB UTME with the aspiration to study Elect-Elect in UNIPORT. Yesterday, the 2nd of March, I'd completed my exams and after a long wait I got what I consider the biggest shock I'd ever received in the history of examinations. JAMB released my results as thus; Use of English - 60, Maths - 58, Physics - 75 and Chemistry - 67 Aggregate:260

If I'm not certain about others, I can swear it that I would never score below 90% in any Maths exam. I've gotten so acquainted with Mathematics that it has become my life and almost my everything. I don't know how JAMB marking scheme is like but if common sense is anything to go by, each questions should carry 2 marks. I practised the past questions and the least score I'd ever gotten in any test within a time interval of 50 minutes was 45/50 and I'm even so sensitive to errors on the past questions that I could easily spot one at anytime. What I can't seem to figure my head around is how JAMB do come about with this dubious marking system. Why must I be punished for an unfounded suspicion? I protest this result and I challenge the organization called JAMB to summon me anywhere, anytime and I'll prove that this score I was awarded with is a scam. My target to score 320 or above that can't be relinquished in this manner without a protest.

Op wot do you want? Is it to get admission into Uniport or to score 320 and stil get d same admission. Bottomline is ur jamb score can land u admission into any University with a high Putme mark. So start preparing for putme.

Its not about scoring high jamb score, but prof-erring solutions to problems in the society, an as elect elect potential

you should know how to wire a building, deal with electrical matters in a house, vehicle , boat and any other electrical appliance.

You should know how to make an inverter, stabilizer no matter how crude the finishing is.

Many of our elect elect graduates take their tvs, phones and generator to road side artisans to fix, they dont even know how to change bulbs in their houses.

Skill and certificates are two different things entirely , acquire the necessary skills and our country wont have to import artisans from china, Philippines or india to fix its electricity.

@op If you get into the university with this mentality, you may not graduate with a good result or worse still not graduate with your coursemates despite your level of intelligence. This is because lecturers will memorize your matric number and keep marking you down for any little error. You need to learn how to be grateful for a good result and work harder for a better result, not calling your examiners. I have friends who have threaded this path you going towards and it never ended too well.
Congrats on your JAMB score, focus on your POST UTME. Success!
