Walahi this wait is highly irritating. This is almost 2 months since the last mail. @kaitung said that we shall get the mails sooner than we expect. But as far as I am concerned, it is already far later than we expected. I hope politics is not what is delaying this thing. I hope those guys in high places are not trying to influence it. Cos I see nothing, absolutely nothing that should still be delaying this process. NLNG, NLNG, NLNG. How many times did I call u? If you want to cancel this recruitment, cancel it and let all men rest. If you want to take just 5 persons, take them. Put an end to this annoying wait. It is very irritating. Gush!!!!!!!!!

lol. It's just over a month you know, and dont worry, they have zilch intentions to cancel this process.

Anyways, from what I have heard, all I can say is that let us all take our minds off these guys. They are the most unreliable bunch I have seen. Though in all fairness there are several factors that are dynamic and affecting their decisions, but truth still remains that some other top notch firms in similar bracket would have made firmer decisions and concluded this process long ago. They keep changing mouth like Lai Mohammed and Reuben Abati and that can only infuriate the masses.

One thing is certain, this their NEBULOUS process will one day come to an end. For now, "anything they decide today will most likely not happen tomorrow", hence I am just going to stop disturbing my sauce for info. She sef don tire for all the come today, come tomorrow that her company is doing. At the end of the day, the hour will come upon us like a thief in the night just like our pastors Forkadict and co have prophesied. It's hard, but lets take our minds away from Q-whenever and just forget about these hommies. Whenever they are ready, they should let us know and by the special grace of Our Lord and Savior, we shall all 'meet in Heaven' when rapture happens.

What I don't get is why some ppl were given closure and some others weren't. It's not like there's any certainty (based on the numbers mentioned here) that when the closure eventually comes, it's gonna be different from what some others got a long time ago. Why do some have to wait longer for the same outcome? This is the one thing I can single out as "unfair" in the entire process.

Caring is one of their core principles, but it only applies to those who bear their name(staff) or can directly disrupt/affect( Bonny indigenes/ business partners) their business.

The bureaucracy inherent in institutions such as this, is very alarming. Its such a shame!!!
Imagine that 8th March, 2016, next tuesday, would make it exactly 2 years since we took part in the 1st stage of this recruitment (WAEC test), the same day the Malaysia Airlines Plane (MH370) mysteriously disappeared from air traffic controllers' radar screens. That would give us a picture of how long this "thing" called recruitment has lasted. Tufiakwa (in Osuofia's voice)

Thanks for the info.
But I dont think anyone really cares about such info especially when it involves waiting for days, weeks and months. As artmedia rightly said they can change their mind anytime. All their decisions are circumstantial. Chances are that whatever inforemed Q3 decision (assuming its true) will also change. When that happens, we trust NLNG to change the date as well.

Best thing - let them call when they are ready.

Nigeria LNG heading to UK, first in 18 months

Nigerian LNG facility on Bonny Island has shipped its first cargo to the United Kingdom in 18 months.

Shipping data reveals that the 145,926 cbm LNG Enugu built in 2005 by DSME of South Korea is set to dock at Dragon import terminal on March 10.

A Reuters report disclosed that the converging global gas prices have reduced incentives for shippers to deliver Atlantic-produced supply to Asia.

Nigeria LNG exported around 40 percent of its production to Asia in 2015 with 30 percent of the production ending up in Europe. However, no cargoes have been delivered to the United Kingdom.

The Bonny Island facility, operated by Nigeria LNG has six trains in operation, producing a total of 22 mtpa of LNG.

Meanwhile, One of Nigeria LNG’s six production trains at the Bonny Island plant is currently undergoing maintenance.

NLNG’s spokesman, Tony Okonedo told reporters recently that maintenance began on January 25 and will be carried out over a period of 70 days ending in the first week of April, noting that there are no production challenges.

At full production, the Bonny Island facility’s six trains produce some 22 mtpa of liquefied natural gas, from about 3.5 bcf/d feed gas intake. It has supply deals in place with the likes of Repsol of Spain and BG Group. Additionally, the facility sells LNG cargoes on the spot market.

Nigeria LNG is a joint venture by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC (49 percent), Shell (25.6 percent), Total (15 percent), and Eni (10.4 percent).

By the time you analyse them against their core values you see epic fail. I wonder how professional they'll be, you might have to lobby and lick a** to get promoted. Very funny company.

I know people are flabbergasted, frustrated and fed up.

Personally, they almost put me in trouble when I left my former place of work in early 2015. I banked on the fact that by June 2015 the recruitment would be sorted out.

I would not have been able to leave my former dungeon if not for my faith in them to conclude this exercise last year. They failed my faith in them but God did not fail me but guys I suffered for 4 months in unemployment. All the other coys, that promised me offers started to downsize too due to problems in the industry. I almost sold my car. No be small mumu thing I do o!

God made the risk worth it sha, cos I got a better job and was able to get married to my heartthrob. All things work together for good for them that love God and those that are the called according to his purposes.

Almost 1 year after people still dey use the hashtag "wewait". Looolz. I can understand people that have put so many crucial decisions on hold because of NLNG because I have been there.

I think it will not exceed this March but my candid advice, if it exceeds March people should start marching on with their alternative plans. So that it will not be a case of "If you get what you want, will you want what you get?"

For the peeps vexing, let's be patient. March still has 27 days in it. From what I have garnered, HR seems to be almost through if not through.
Someone has to give final approval and I believe that's where the recruitment stepped on "superglue".

Probably someone's candidate might not make it if the final list is pruned to 60. Whatever the reason is abusing them on NL will not solve it. It would have been good if the top shots can be emailed en masse but we all know that would do more harm than good.

I just can't stop remembering the words of Rancho in the epic movie Three Idiots- Aal izz Well.

Please let us relax. Aal will be wellllll...

Maybe we don't need to worry about notification. Everyone who wasn't dropped during the last regret mail MIGHT just all be taken (maybe in batches) except they fail medicals.

This is my wish and prayer.

Q3 You mean we should wait till Sept. 2016 after waiting this long. Jesus!!!

Clearly people are upset now more than ever. What can I say? I think no one of us is immune to the emotional stress this is capable of causing. Believe me, we're all feeling it. What can we do? Some say take your minds off it, which, deep down we know is next to impossible. We can only wait. As helpless as it sounds, that's really all we can do.

If I observe unusual colouration of the cryogenic system's protective coating; and it's not a typically documented characteristic. I make recommendations from research, and my suggestions aren't heeded because the manager fail to sit on it. The systems fail ultimately, do you think the money will keep me happy. This I believe is the kind of system they run, unappreciative. I doubt career satisfaction is attainable in such a system.

For many, it is not just money. I wanted to join a system that single handedly improved the availability of cooking gas for Nigerians. I wanted to postulate a similar idea, make money for the company and ease life for Nigerians, that was my attraction to the system. I saw them as a people who value Nigerians, and expected to be treated with value throughout the recruitment process (expected 9 months). I was always going to make money, but not all the avenues had a history of empowering Nigerians. This indecisiveness had totally erased my positive convictions, not just because of the present management; but because the future management ( the sauces on here, and expectant rapturees) also excuse the indecisiveness. I am tired of fighting systems to do what is right, I hope not as many are tolerant/accepting of wrongdoing just because you earn good.

Money is not everything.

While others have aptly noted that it is not all about money but a satisfactory process.

I need add, what then happen to those who didnt make it at the end, cos they as well have put their decision on hold because of this recruitment, maybe for them they will never forget all he/she have gone through.

Shouldnt we be considerate to all?
