I was in a hurry to attend a physics lab practical today.On my way I received a call,so I had to wait to answer the call for like two minutes.After I finished answering the call,a guy walked up to me; you know the usual is to shake hands,but I noticed something;I noticed he had a style of hand shake I don't know abt,and there was look of surprise in his face.The first thing he asked was ' are you not a vickings?'. O boy fear catch me .I was like 'I don't understand you ' before he could answer, another guy came to me to ask the same question. Another thing I noticed was that their eyes were wandering as if they are up to something bad.Another thing is that, I noticed was it was not just the two of them but many of them all at different positions; All eyes was on me.O boy fear catch me die.
As a smart boy,I started wondering in my mind what might have attracted this 'O it was my dress code;Red and black ,eh! O boy I don die'
The second guy asked me the question I was expecting'why are you putting on this code' As fear catch me reach I was like ' sorry let me pull it off' .The next thing I heard was 'I hope you are with a condom if not I will f**** your yansh like that' I nearly fainted .
And thanks be to God one of them from a corner told them 'Leave him he is a freshman'

I have never in my life had this kind of experience before. But it thought me something I never knew- Don't you ever put on a red and black combination in the school.

You really don't need to be scared of them cos they are men like you. Just try and avoid being too close to them or in places where they gather. I remember my first experience in Ekosodin. The first day I entered that hood,I noticed too many eyes prying at me. Seeing a 6ft 2inches tall dude with bloodshot red eyes and a face that hardly smiled back then,walking cconfidently and not sending anybody,made a couple of peeps I came across at the bar,a little bit uncomfortable... I could identify some of them and the frats they belong to but they didn't walk up to me(I wasn't dressed in their colors though). Something else happened opposite uniben gate. There was this tall dude who crossed from the school to the other side of the road,and was heading towards town. He had something that looked like a gun tucked underneath his shirt and the moment he got to where students were gathered,waitinf for cabs/buses to take them to town,the whole place scattered. Everyone ran for safety(most ran towards BDPH). I just stood there,wondering why people were running. The dude finally walked up to where I was and it was then I noticed he had something tucked underneath his shirt and he was tryna conceal it. It was too late to run and I just stood there looking at him with hands akimbo(my two hands placed on my hips). We kept looking at ourselves eyeball to eyeball as he walked past me and he kept looking back at me as he walked away. By the time he had walked out of sight,people started coming out from "God knows where they went to" and I noticed some weren't even comfortable standing near me with the look I got from them. The point is,cultists really weild no powers when they are alone. Their strength is in their numbers. When they notice fear in you,they'd take advantage of it. I also hand that experience as an undergraduate looking for admission at unilag;this happened at their water front. I was busy looking for admission then,and decided to explore what the scenery of the school looked like. That's how I walked to where dem broses at that time,were hanging out. They called me like a smallie and God knows I answered them with total obedience. After asking me my mission there and some other questions,they asked for some money which I gave and they asked me to go quietly. It would have been easy for them to fling me into the lagoon and nobody will find out. That place was fucking lonely and quiet. My point is,try and avoid their territories,wearing their color combinations,attending parties where they dominate and also show less fear when you see them. But if they are in a group and they call you and you know you'd Get help from nowhere,pls answer for your own good to avoid stories that touch.
