5. Have you discovered a problem or need that you would be able to proffer solutions to after your studies.
6. What skills do you need to succeed in SIM programme.

They were all friendly, had smiles on their faces as i was talking. If you have to give them real life scenario please do, i gave one as a biz plan and they went Wow! . I know i ace the interview.

you need the english language proficiency cert. it is compulsory you also beat the cutoff. Each school has it own language requirement

Pls who also applied in University of jyvaskyla? I haven't heard anything about interview from them but I got an email from UAF that my application has ben processed and no other documents required. Also got an email back in January from a professor acknowledging my application

With a 2.2 in bsc Electrical Engineering, what are my chances of getting admission to any English speaking school for msc Electrical Engineering there with no or low tution(below10k per annum). Please i really need your replies

I applied to JYU and did my interview in thursday. From the email i got, they said, they would get back by end of the month at tbe very latest.

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your application to the Master's programme in *************** at the University of Jyväskylä.

The official application period has closed. You will be able to send the required attachments into UAF until February 5th. All attachments that arrive after the final deadline will not be considered in the application. Please note, that this email has been sent to all applicants. Depending on your status, you may already have sent the documents and may have received confirmation from UAF that they have received them.

At this point we would like to share a bit of information on what will happen next.

At the first stage, all applications will be checked by UAF. UAF will check whether all applicants fulfill the minimal requirements (the language requirements and required background degrees etc) as well as the authenticity of the documents. However, UAF will not evaluate the content of the application - only that they fulfill the technical requirements. All of the applications will be send to us at the University of Jyväskylä only after this. Therefore we cannot comment on whether your application has arrived with all the required documents at this point. UAF should be in contact with you, if not please contactinfo@universityadmissions.fi to inquire about the status of your application.

Once UAF is finished with their process, the applications will be send to University of Jyväskylä. The applications will then be evaluated by the programme staff, as well as the staff of the major discipline you have applied to. Based on the paper application a shortlisted group of applicants will be invited for interviews. The interviews will mainly be organized via Skype. Depending on the timeline in UAF, we will send the invitations around mid March or towards the end of March at the latest. The interviews will be arranged shortly after.
