Schools East of the Niger have never been magnanimous when it comes to graduating students with First Class degrees(mind you I'm not advocating dashing of the degree oh). There's this erroneous believe that a school is better when it graduates students with a low number of First Class, which if you ask me is absolutely preposterous.

This is where the Southwest comes on top. Unilag has never graduated less than a 100 first class students, and this a Federal University.

Are the schools East of the Niger telling us that students in the SS/SE are dull when compared to their counterparts in the West?

All of you guys complaining that the number of First Class is too small are yet to know about the school (University of Calamity). You are clearly denied the grades you deserve coupled with the sadists moving around as lecturers. The school had just one First Class in its last two convocation. Students read like hell but it does not tell in the results of most. Imagine my department (name withheld) has never produced a First Class. The person that almost did that was clearly robbed and the heavens did not fall. Tried my best to make a First Class but encountered same obstacles. I'm proud of my Alma Mater for broadening my horizon as I have compared my level of knowledge in my field with my colleagues from some schools. #Team2:1 Unical no easy, dare if you can.

Mind you, I was born and brought up in the SW, I've only spent about 3 years in my region and it took me until after graduation and moving back to Lagos from the north (where I schooled) to realize that there is a big divide between Igbos and Yorubas. Why? Because I started being active on the nairaland and seeing bigots like you and your likes from my tribe display your acute childishness on here.

When I went to the north, it took me less than a year to notice there was a divide between northern Muslims and Christians but it took me till end of 2014, when I became a constant user of Nairaland to notice that a big divide exists between Igbo and Yorubas. Doesn't it say a lot about you and your likes? I see all these bigotry displayed here as mere childishness but it doesn't take away the fact that many of the people who propagate this nonsense online hatred and envy are bunch of old and self serving dummies..

Only in schools in nig that producing below 50 first class is a way to pass across the sophistication and status of that institution. Smh

This is where you are boldly told that even if you're the President's son, you cannot get a first class either by tricks or genuinely.
