Haba! Don't you believe these as well:

1. THE VIRGIN MARY AS CO-REDEMPTRIX, MEDIATRIX AND ADVOCATE

2. THREE gods

3. Baptism in titles and not a Name.

ANSWER my questions too.

Show me a single person baptized based on the trintarian doctrine in the bible!!

I am still waiting! Weeks have passed!
u complain abt d catholic creed, i gave u a catholic creed and u cant even condemn a single point in itt, u instead prefer to bring accusation..

U complained abt d creed and d above is nott a creed. When u have time to learn what a creed is u can call me back

* "communion of saints" as you say is a form of spiritualism.
How do you pray to saints that are dead?
Anything that communes with the dead is transgressing the law of God and going through a devil!

* Also, when Our Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross, (if you check the word of God), the veils of the temple was rent in twain, thus meaning that we could approach the throne of God directly.

* Also, Saints are dead, they are in the presence of God.
There's no mediator between God and man but Jesus Christ.

- Praying through Paul,Mary etc, is not correct.

1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity--the man Christ Jesus. There is one God.

If someone had told me i will be making a life changing decision like this many years ago i would have been enraged, not at he or she but at the force that would dare cause that.

Was born a catholic, baptised by a priest and cofirmed by the state bishop. I annexed to this by becoming a member of the legion of mary (tho left at one time) i was still faithful to the blessed virgin mary with my bead ritual.

The truth is i only had to do this and that and then the other and relax. By relax, i mean do what ever i wanted. Club, have sex, drink, curse, lie, cheat, disobey other authorities, go nude etc as long as i came back for confession all the time and obtained mercy from God through the priest, i was fine. Maybe they didnt think it was fine i.e my lifestyle but the silence and indifference they showed, gave me the wrongest impression. After all i was always encouraged to go for confession like my life was hanging on it.

This is something that all catholics will understand. After confession we feel a bit unburdened with guilt...for a while. I dont know about others, but mine was not always more than an hour and i would be back to square one (or may be i never left there but thought i did). I was not freaky about the sunday communion thing like others cos i didnt think i was worthy.

Going to the university exposed me to other religious groups. I didn't like the way they shouted while praying but i admired the way they reverred the bible and talked about Christ more.
I thought the catholic church was doing little in the teaching of biblical truths but was still a good model for other churches, mushroom churches.

There were times i made resolutions to turn a new leaf but they always never came to a fruition.
Up till now. I couldn't, i cant keep them. All the rules of right living get lost on me. I just cant change. Talked with our priest every day about this after our doctrinal classes (joined the Opus dei) He suggested i read books of saints who had lived and overcame evil and of course by following the many laid down rules and rituals of the church. I read about mother Theresa, Pope John Paul the II, Saint José maria. Still nothing. It only made me feel unworthy but no power in them.

I decided to read the bible at last after so many procrastinations. I started with John and i have not seen any slight resemblance with the Church. I will continue with Matthew, Mark and Luke this month.

So many things in this old boring book are startling me. embarassed
Brother.

Leaving that Roman Catholic church would be the best thing you did for your soul.
I have been there, done that. My parents are beefing me for that but I don't care.
Let the Bible guide your choice of faith. You don't offer acceptable worship to God in a strange land. In Deuteronomy 16, it says worship where I put My name.
The catholic church is just a system where roman idolatry was Christianized. You can't background any of their doctrines rightly in the Bible. From Trinity, to worship of Mary, to Christmas, Easter,....even their version of holy communion....everything is just anti-Scripture.
Look for a church that comes closest to Biblical doctrines as you can find. Else you stand the risk of having run this Christian race in vain.

Jesus christ
Re: Why I May Have To Leave The Catholic Church by Mariner007:
Ubenedictus:
Jesus christ
explain these few..

The Angelus
V- The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R- And she conceived by the Holy Spirit.
(Hail Mary....)
V- Behold the handmaid of the Lord.
R- Be it done unto me according to thy word.
(Hail Mary....)
V- And the Word was made Flesh.
R- And dwelt among us.
(Hail Mary....)
V- Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
R- That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US PRAY:
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts;
that, we to whom the Incarnation of Christ, Thy Son,
was made known by the message of an Angel,
may by His Passion and Cross,
be brought to the glory of His Resurrection
through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Saint Michael Prayer
Saint Michael, the Archangel, defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God
cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits
who prowl throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Memorare
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help
or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
We fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not our petitions,
but in thy mercy hear and answer them
. Amen.

Hail Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy,
our life, our sweetness and our hope.
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve:
to thee do we send up our sighs,
mourning and weeping in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us,
and after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen.

Thank you very much. Like i said i have done almost all you said up there but still feel worthless before God. How much do i have to try to attain God's perfect standard? When do we know we have pleased God enough? Going for confession every three weeks? praying the rosary 24/7? i think not! because if it were so the guilt that comes with sin should be decreasing already not increasing

Since the bible is the only authority catholics and non-catholics respect, i would like you to cite from it to support what you know. Can you?
I am sorry you still feel guilt after confession, that would come most likely from the fact that you are not sure you have trully repented of that sin, the catholic church knows we are humans and have weakness but at the time of confession you must be trully sorry for your since and make a firm resolution to not sin again, I dont know your exact challenge but they are many materials on the catholic faith online, you cant miss them. but if you have decided to change just be sure it is sincere not just sentimental or emotional. God help You.

I have personally had the same realization about this and would advice you to study more and listen to messages on the gospel of grace. you've actually made an important progress in your christian walk; the realization that religious activities and rules of the church have no power to change the evil desires within a christian. knowing all the right rules and laws does'nt deliver either from the lust lurking in the heart of man (including the christian). life transformation takes place by the the grace of Jesus and understanding his finished work on the cross. God bless you as you find the truth
Re: Why I May Have To Leave The Catholic Church by Nobody: 1:55pm On Jun 16, 2017
I like the part where you said others equate spiritual growth with personal accumulation.

Since i started reading JOHN the JESUS CHRIST ive seen so far is nothing like what i have ever heard. He is not some father christmas or a slave to none but the head and decider of every one's fate. I've not seen any where (and dont think i will see any) where spiritual growth is the same as personal enrichment.

Maybe you have a problem with wrong practise of Christianity.

I strongly believe truth is out there, philosophy only keeps you in uncertainty.
Keep searching. Make Bible reading and research a daily affair, your life will never remain the same.
