Semilorepupo: My observation as you can also see in the refusal letter: 1. Why include an employment/other source of income that you dont have documented evidence 2. No documents to support the 500 pounds you earn monthly from Properties and Rent. 3. You stated that 50% of your monthly income go for family upkeep 4. Your hotel booking has been cancelled Please allow some time before you re-apply especially if you can correct the above issues |

iblaw: Thanks Iblaw... well asper the evidence of tax payments, Tax is being deducted from his monthly pay which shows on his payslips, He earns 120K and spends 140GBP on living expenses. Cost of trip is 800GBP, 590GBP for flight and 210GBP for other expenses. Let me know what you think. |

Thanks IBLAW but I stated clearly that I work as a freelance for the property coy and that what I earn from AG properties is determined by d amount of biz I bring to dem. Honestly I can't rem filling that 50percent of my earning goes to fam upkeep. Ok, for how long should I wait? N if I have to re- apply what should I do differently? Remove d property coy from my application or get d necessary documentation? |

arowoloaffiss: As long as your monthly salary goes in there that is what matters, yes include payslips |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 10:32pm On Mar 14, 2016 |
Semilorepupo: 1. Did you cancel the hotel booking? 2. Do you have any evidence to support your second job? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by iblaw: 11:20pm On Mar 14, 2016 |
Semilorepupo: Sincerely i cant be specific on how long you should wait but getting the necessary documents is BETTER than removing the property coy from your next application. 1 Like |

Hello Good people, Please i need your advice, I was refused a UK short visit visa a year ago when I was working in a company, due to the fact that I didn't include my pay slips and I didn't specify places of visit. I have a small scale business (buying and selling) where I'm currently working, I registered it in 2010 and started functioning in 2013 and taxes are paid up till date. I want to know if it's possible to use my personal current account when applying for a UK short visit visa because that is where money is paid into. Also what other documents do i need to put together? Thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 6:40am On Mar 15, 2016 |
Justbeyou: You need to submit both..your personal bank account and that of your business but your budget for the trip will come from your personal bank account. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by Semilorepupo: 7:47am On Mar 15, 2016 |
justwise: I have the offer of employment as a freelance marketer.l, is that enough? i think d hotel booking was cancelled due to lack of funds. I didn't cancel the booking on my own. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 7:58am On Mar 15, 2016 |
Justbeyou: That maybe a problem because there is no way to know how much Is for your business capital and personal account spending. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 7:59am On Mar 15, 2016 |
Semilorepupo: I'm afraid no, it's not good enough, you still need to support that with payment evidence from that employment |

askari01: Everything looks ok but if your friend can get a Letter from his Finance dept. stating how much has been paid in tax in the last 6 months will be good. |

Good day people, how do you show the source of your income when you are self employed and cash is paid directly into your account. Also will there be a problem if your personal bank account is also the same one you use for business? I'm planning on a visit visa to visit family. |

Bigolly: No. He cannot get a visa because the visa officers are smarter than your friend. Company Tax clearance certificate issued by FIRS is all the ECO needs to confirm a legitimate and subsisting company in Nigeria. 10 years ban awaits your so call friend. 2 Likes |

cashmered: As a business owner, it’s tempting to blur the lines between personal and business expenses; however, maintaining a distinct separation is one of the best ways to ensure long-term success and financial growth. That is exactly what the ECO expects from a business owner/entrepreneur. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 11:30pm On Mar 15, 2016 |
Justbeyou: The issue still remain the same, how would the ECO separate your actual business capital and your profit? How about opening a business account and run it properly for 6months at least before applying for visa? |

Hello Good People. I am planning on renewing my visiting visa soon and I plan applying for 5years which I've confirmed to be at the cost of $853. I will like to find out from those who have made payment in this month, what rate was charged by the different banks used. I just want to know what to budget for the transaction. |

missmalachi: Most importantly, don't mix up the visa categories. Husband: Business visa You: General visitor visa Daughter: Special visitor- child category visa. For your husband, I want to believe he does not have a problem with his own application since the company is the sponsor. The Company’s financial documents, registration certificates, tax clearance certificate, sponsor letter will be handed over to him. But he must also include his 6 months bank statement (salary account), 6 months pay slips, wedding certificate, birth certificate, professional qualification (if any). For you and your daughter's application, your husband is to bear the financial burden. As your sponsor, he must provide these documents that are to be included in your visa application – 6 months bank statements (salary account) , 6 months pay slips, and employment letter from his company. It is worth noting that you only need to provide your 6 months bank statement even if the closing balance is N100. You should also provide evidence of your previous employment which must be explained in the cover letter to the visa officer. For your daughter's application, you should select the “Special Visitor – Child” category when making her visa application. Don't apply as a General visitor for her to avoid delays in processing her own visa. Attach her birth certificate, Father's employment letter, salary account and pay slips. Also attach to your application; documents to proof your ties to Nigeria, these may be property documents, shares documents, inheritance, marriage certificate, child's birth certificate etc. N:B: In the additional information page, you should give details of what you intend to do whilst in the UK. If possible, use an A4 paper to outline your itineraries for your stay in the UK. |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by justwise(m): 8:29am On Mar 17, 2016 |
FrontPageLawyer: That is not needed as it will not help her application whatsoever. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by missmalachi: 8:59am On Mar 17, 2016 |
