hello guys,
I received a mail from the embassy asking me to bring My passport, travel insurance and prepaid courier service envelope addressed to myself. they also asked to indicate my travel dates
I wanna ask
1. does this mean I'm getting the visa for sure
2. what courier service is recommendable?
3. how do they intend I indicate my travel dates?

Wow..... congrats girl....
we are waiting!!!

1. It means Visa Approved
2. You can Use Fedex, they are now working together since January.
3. On Top of the a.m mail print-out, indicate your possible date of travel. NOTE: the date must come after the date of your insurance.
sorry if this is coming late.
Congrats once more

Be rest assured, your visa is a done deal. Congrats.
If i may ask, which bank did you use for your blocked account transaction and how long did it take? Cheers.

I already prepared travel insurance from IGI valid for 3 months. .and I intend to travel on the first month

I'm not familiar with A.m mailing, but can I get all this done with FedEx?
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by takeastep: 2:50pm On Mar 15, 2016
the A.m mail is the mail you received from the embassy. You only need to print it out and submit it with the envelope and other docs.

That mail embassy sent you telling you to come with 3 months insurance, is the A.M mail. So, print it, write your possible travel date on top of it, package it with your passport, the Insurance documents , include photocopy of the insurance too.
NOTE: Check the two paper given to you by IGI, one is "insured copy" and the other is "consulate copy". so you are sending each one with a copy ( make photocopy for yourself too). Use Fedex to send them.
The embassy will return all your original documents , your passport with VISA stamped , and the insurance too in an envelope. ....... hope i didnt confused you...lol grin

All the best

Please house i seriously need help, my school in Germany(university of Hamburg) is supposed to resume lectures by 1st April. I applied for my visa and my interview was on 9th of march, 2016 today being 15th of march, 2016. i received all my original documents i had earlier submitted to the embassy and a rejection letter stating that "there are considerable doubts concerning my serious intention to study as well as regarding the indicated purpose of my trip" and also that "further prerequisite for a visa approval have not been examined finally".

I informed my school, and i was told to reject/disagree with the letter and if possible fill an appeal. They also additionally sent me an extra visa letter and also promised to contact the embassy on my behalf and get back to me as regards their reply.

Am planning to forward an appeal towards this, but i really need help and counsel from the house to do this.

Pls what should i do?. and how can i go about the appeal. I will also appreciate if anyone can give me a sample on how to file the appeal and how i can go about it. Pls i need help urgently guys.

My email is impacthousenigeria@gmail.com. If u think you can help me.

Also i will like to get a loan to sponsor my trip and my father has a collateral he has promised to drop for me.

Please any help whatsoever is urgently needed and highly appreciated.

God bless you all.

@blessedsamson please try not to spam the thread with your post it is counterproductive.

According to your post it is evident that your finances are not even secure for your studies and that is why you are seeking financial assistance with personal collateral on a public forum which I think just shows your desperation to get to Germany and imagine the disappointment when your fantasy of making so much euros as a student to pay back the loan you secured with this said collateral dissipates into thin air; studying abroad requires careful thought, planning and execution and adequate finances plays a vital role from when you send your applications to when you finally graduate from the program and I hope you do realise that the german consulate is not obligated to respond to your appeal before April 1st or any extended resumption date even if your school intervene on your behalf. Just a word of advice, defer your admission to winter and sort out your finances before thinking of going to Germany to study.

It's okay and we understand how u feel, they have already advised u and do as lamingo said. If it doesn't work out even with the help of ur school, then tell the sch to differ ur admission to winter.

I am not vexing in any way so there is no need to be sorry. Nobody who read from the beginning have been rejected you can ask anybody. If you or anybody that got rejected read from the beginning nothing like that would have happened, cos every thing is written in black n white. Read what I asked you to read first if you don't understand PM me. After the your PM if I discovered you haven't read I won't help you out cos I don't help people who refuse to help themselves and I don't spoonfeed.
