To be fair to the dangote Truck driver, the driver of the car was distracted as she was busy checking out another accident that occured only a few seconds before.

she/he did not respond in time as the truck slowed down because of bus drivers trying to maneuver onto the road. i actually saw the accident dis morning enroute ikeja.....

Lesson: Always maintain 101 % concentration when driving, a few seconds distraction could end your life

I hope you all understand that Dangote is not just his name, its also the name of his company. So when people say Dangote Truck, they are referring to his company.

Dangote really has to call his drivers to order! Wednesday 2 march 2016 on my way to Ondo state a dangote truck actually in full clear daylight drove into on coming traffic to overtake another truck. I and the fellow driving behind me had to drive off the road. luckily the height from the asphalt to the unpaved part of the road was not too high, if not either i would have had a head on collision or i would have driven into the bush.

dangote's truck has being causing more havoc on Nigeria high ways and the funniest thing is that his drivers hardly stay in police net for long for restless driving

According to an online user who shared the news,a Dangote truck was involved in an accident that led to the death of a couple last night.The tragic incident happened at around 11pm last night at Abule-Egba bus stop in Lagos.

The truck allegedly had no reflectors and no brake lights, hence it was difficult for the oncoming cars to see the big vehicle. A saloon car rammed into the Dangote truck; the crash allegedly killed a couple who were in the car.

Late February, another of the company’s truck lost its brakes and crashed into shops in Enugu, killing at least five people.

The said couple were looking at the other side of the road where an accident just occurred while still in motion, by the time the driver would look back on the road it was late.

mtcheww you even have time to caution the OP.... It's the couple's car that ran into the truck not the other way round.. Not the fault of The trucker or the owner.... Reflector or not, if the late driver had looked well, he wouldn't be dead..... What's the use of headlamps if you don't use them?

If you work for Dangotte (in any capacity), then yo are under the banner of Dangotte, in that capacity.

"Dangotte" is Brand Name, gerrit?

Within the Dangotte "business model", he has a duty to ensure, directly or through his "associates/subordinates", ..that vehicles used for carrying out his business and which therefore carry his branf Logo, ARE ROAD WORTHY.

He is vicariously LIABLE for their failures. End of story

l think it would have been better if you shut your trap otherwise, you would know that there is a very important reason why vehicles are fitted with" rear-lights" and "rear reflectors".

Finally, Dangotte's truck has been responsible for over a ten thousand "premature deaths" of Nigerians, l have never for once heard that the Govt takes it up, just like it took up the deaths of innocent people in the collapsed building belonging to Lekki Gardens.

QUESTION: Is Dangotte above the Law..... just like Fulani Herdsmen seem to be above the law, in Nigeria?
