I used 2 hospitals for my antenatal clinics and I delivered my babies in the one I feel more comfortable with.
a private hosp and govt hosp is wat I used.

@fearless07, sorry for the late response. I don't think there is anything you can do to shed weight, I will only advice that you eat healthy, fruits, vegetables, cut down on junk foods, you can also eat more of protein or make sure you eat equal portion of protein and carbohydrates. You may still gain a little more, just watch what you eat because its not easy to watch One's weight during pregnancy. As per the anti-malaria drug , just follow your doctor's advice, I have'nt been treated for malaria because the mp test I did last month came out negative and I am 19 weeks + 4 days gone today. Other mamas will still contribute, I believe. Stay blessed.

weldone, it's not easy, the Lord is your strength, as per d hicups, most pple usually say the baby's stomach is expanding to eat more , don't know how true( weda na old wives tale).
Pls will like to know if you had diffrent ultrasound result about the type of twins u were having. Am confused here, cos my 1st 2scans says twins r sharing diff placenta, the last scan I did says d share 1 placenta.

I did up to 6 or 7 scans. Can't remember now. I never remember to ask about the placenta because my husband was really particular about their sex and all the scans we did didn't show their sex until 6 months or 6.5 months when I was told one of them is a boy. That's all I got to know, my Princess didn't show her sex at all. She surprised us.I was expecting 2 boys. The only time I asked about the placenta was at the last scan and I was told that it's one placenta they're sharing and I was like wow identical twins!!! At birth I was expecting 2boys, a boy And a girl came that doesn't look anything alike, I was expecting 1 placenta, 2 placentas came.

Essence of my long story is expect anything with twins. Just keep praying it end with praise. Babies alive, mummy alive, daddy alive and plenty money in Jesus Name.

My Birth Story...

On monday 29th Feb 2016,
I went for antenatal, and the gyneacologist asked me to choose a date for Elective CS, he claimed the hosp policy does not allow vaginal delivery of multiples (He has been saying this since i registered for antenatal at 12weeks) but i refused to sign for a date. I already registered with another hospital so i was having my antenatals at both hospitals.
I have being praying to God for a natural birth since i knew i was carrying twins and as at then, one was head down n the other breech but i knew God will perfect my delivery. I and my mum decided to do prayers for 3 nights (we did it only for 2nights cos i delivered the 3rd night)

On Wednesday march 2nd, i went to the market to get some items, got home and ate semo with ewedu (i actually drank d ewedu like water as advised by the matron). I went to bed at 9pm and was woken by a strong pain after 15mins infact , i thot the breech baby wanted to turn, after 5mins or even less i had another pain, i went to use the toilet. By the time the 3rd one came i felt as if sometin was coming out of me. I was confused, hubby was in abuja. I had only my househelp and first daughter at home. Immediately i called my mum on phone to meet me at the hosp also called my bike man to come pick me. By the time i got to the hosp entrance i felt some tin was in between my legs and i cud not walk again. I screamed and the nurse came to take me in while warning me not to push. Meanwile i planned to take my bag to the hospital that day just in case labour comes any time but did not get someone to assist as hubby was not around. So i went to the hosp without any tin. I was quickly rushed to the labour room, lo and behold, the Taiwo which was breech had already brot out one leg, before i knew it, the nurse bursted the sac, asked me to pushed and i delivered her breech (she did not tell me until after delivery and besides scan showed that it's d second twin that was breech). She weighed 2.8kg Remember, no hospital bag available, they were just running up and down. They had to use my mum's scarf to cover Taiwo. Contractions started again almost Immediately and i pushed 2ce and kehinde (3kg) came out after 7mins. Every tin just happened like a flash, the time frame between leaving d aus and delivery was not more than 30mins. No tear, no episotomy. I bless God for his faithfulness, he answers prayers. I never had any contractions that day just the normal braxton hicks which had been there since wen i was 20weeks, i also had diarrhea evryday for like 2weeks not knowing my body has been preparing for d day,

@ PresVa , u can use more dan 2 hospitals if u wish....am using 2 hospitals (general and private hospital).I love general hospital cos of deir antenatal lectures and thinking of using private hospital for my delivery , and I love dat private hospital cos I listen to my baby's heartbeat every 2weeks I have appointment with dem. @ Our able finance minister Zaynie, we are still waiting for our Malt and Shawarma o...

I was checked today but cervix is only a tip not yet opened. I was advised to be taking everything hot, lipton and even boiled ewedu leaves and its root to drink.
Pls what else can I do to dilate cervix as induction is scheduled on Saturday night.

I was booked for Cs on the 17th but I changed my mind and decided to have it done on the 14th.
I was admitted on the 14th of March, by 7:30am on 15th drip was passed on me, was wheeled into the theatre by 8:00am, I saw the whole procedure, when my baby was brought out I cried to God be the Glory.
The procedure lasted for about 30mins, and I was wheeled to my room.
I give God the Glory.

Evening primrose oil capsules worked for me. Dey sell 1card 350 or so. Wash hands. I lie on my back, pierce 2 caps n squeeze d oil into my vijay n use fingers to rub it in n on my cervix.
after I use d finger n smear it on my perineum.
Then I kpekus after. It makes vijay so lubricated so I told dh y its dat way so he wont b put off

I did mornin n nite. I deliverd on d 3rd day. It may soften/rripen ur cervix for labour or take u into labour as my case

And I tried the garden egg therapy, you need to see the kind of devilish fart ( in Annie's voice)this garden egg was making me fart. I had to stop ooo. I don't eat it as much now. BTW, it didn't work for my tommy ooo maybe it will work for yours dou

When I was waiting for af to start the pills I got to induce ovulation.
I didn't know God had other plans.

Got my Bfp on March 3rd - 3-3-2016
Am announcing 16-3-2016

I know I ovulated very late but I can't say when exactly
So I am waiting for my first scan to know which team I belong.

In my heart of hearts though I see October - ( 10-10-16) 38weeks gestational age.
I hope that's healthy enough.

The bday Mama, I came with all currencies but being an Iyamileko -Lagos Mama. I will pay you with cowries... The type we used to pick at bar beach back in d days... I hope it's acceptable

Hello everyone, my procedure was a success to the glory of God. I feel perfectly fine, no pain at all, I dnt evn feel like sth ws done to my vjay . God is so faithful and i'm grateful. Thanks for the show of love and support. We all shall carry and nurture our Lo's in Jesus name. Amen.

In a related development,Mamas please rejoice with me. A good friend who got married a month after I did and has been TTC for 8years put to bed today. Been shedding tears of joy. We live towns apart so I didnt even tell her that I had twins last year cos I feared she might feel i'm rubbing it in her face that I now have 5 and she's desperate for just one.

@udoomama have you done a 4D ultrasound? Was told @16weeks by the sonographer where I did antenatal that my twins didn't share sac or placenta and they were male and female.Took it with a pinch of salt cos I no dey see anytin for 2D. Went elsewhere for 4D @20wks and I got the same verdict. In this case,i saw the genitals and the 2 placentae clearly. If you haven't but can afford it please go for 4D and doppler or only the 4D to save cost.
