I seriously need help.. my landlord chased my room mate for reasons best known to him..and since then he is saying I should pack out if I can't get a new room mate. Am in 300l and getting a room mate is hard for me.. I have my own part of the rent to pay. But he said I should add it up or pack out.. am confused. I don't have any hope of adding anything... please I need a way out

Is this the new format guys are using? What is it and all the story of landlord throwing everyone out.

Your landlord wants the full rent paid, regardless of who's occupying the property.
Your landlord wants you out IF you can't make up the rent, or get a second occupant to make up the rent.
Your landlord wants you out, so he can let out the property to a person or persons who can pay the rent.

What are you confused about? From what you've posted, it's as plain as mud.

lol yes i did...just this week alone, more people have opened thread claiming landlord is about throwing them out, some even made front page. It's more like the trending topic this past week,lol.
