The Premier League's current bottom three teams have more English top-division titles between them then the division's top three clubs.
Leicester City, Tottenham and Arsenal have a combined total of 15, while basement club Aston Villa and fellow strugglers Newcastle and Sunderland have amounted 17 titles. North Londoners Arsenal account for 13 of the top three's first-tier championships, with Tottenham contributing two league successes in 1950-51 and 1960-61.

For the relegation battlers, Villa have won the league seven times - their last back in 1980-81 - while Sunderland have six and Newcastle four.

Carrick passes out of the DM were very instrumental today. Good long and short passes, mostly between opposing players. Each time our attacking players got the ball, they were always forward looking. Lingard is very good at carrying the ball forward through the middle. He has done it in two matches. He was our best player against Liverpool.

No one is saying they should become the main stay.
They need someone that will at least have faith enough to keep them on the fringes of the 1st team and give them chances from time to time as they mature.

Loans these days are hardly effective.
Except the two clubs have some form of bilateral relationship, No one is going to help you nuture your own.
These loans throw the players straight up into the deep in a sink or swim situation with little or no mentorship and that's not always a good thing.

You wan tell me say Tomas tuchel for example would not have found a way to make Adnan Januzaj feel more at home in Dortmund if he was their property and cost 18 million?

I was thinking about that westham youth team that gave them J Cole,lampard,rio and Carrick none of them really stayed at West Ham

Martial and Rashford should be given opportunities. The platform for them to be our main attacking players should be provided. Rashford and Martial caused City defence all kind of problems yesterday. Under tight marking in attacking zone, they held their own.

But they will find fast playing defenders hard to tear down so easily, so they will need to mature. Even if Mourinho comes, these guys should be in the plan of first his eleven selection.

Lingard has shown we need a fast playing attacking midfielder. In the last two matches, he carried the ball forward quickly, always forward looking. It's forward movement everytime and he had the pace to cover yards. His problem though is lack of alertness at the final moment.

If we have a quality player like Ribery or Robben to play from the right and provide leadership in the attack, then we can be happy. May be too a real attacking midfielder who has pace.

Manchester United have refused to comment on reports that Jose Mourinho has signed a pre-contract to take over as manager in place of Louis van Gaal at the end of the season.

A club official told Reuters they would be making no response to the story in Spanish newspaper El Pais, which cited sources close to Mourinho.

They are talented players tho lack experience. If defence and midfield can have stable players the academy can step up.
Varela, Rashford, Jackson, Mensah, Januzaj, Pereira, Lingard, Keane and Wilson can feature prominently over a season.
It is a better option to buying expensive players who may not even stay fit to perform consistently.
