Good one for the Nigeria Air force and Innoson. The government need to patronize our local industries more and give them defence contracts. We need to look inwards for certain things and not always expecting help from overseas. This statement sums it all:

Lastly, DICON needs to be revived. Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar once lamented that DICON was established about the same time as its Brazilian counterpart. But while the latter has gone on to produce sophisticated weapons, DICON has been reduced to producing bullets.

Govt should not just patronize innoson motors, it should also subsidize its products, that's how other countries started, not just campaigning for made in Nigeria goods by mouth, Govt should subsidize production.
