good evening all, pls I need ur mature advice and criticism on these issue.
I use to work in a school and I worked there for 4 month without asking for excuse despite sickness due to stress of the job, and trying my best to be diligent in my work. it happened that I had a family issue that required my attention and I asked for one week leave without pay. I wrote the meter through the admin twice but the proprietress declined and the next thing she did was to bring another teacher to my class so on seeing this I decided to proceed on my journey without permission. prior to that time. I had worked for complete three weeks. when I came back from my journey she sacked me and refused to pay me for the three weeks I worked
is this a fair treatment, how can I recover my hard eryned money from this woman? pls help me

in my opinion, you should not hav gone without making him/her to realize why you must go and allow you to go.
Even with you going, you deserve to get your three weeks pay. you should ask for your pay, though not with fight. if he/she refuses to give you, leave the issue with God and find your way.

You should also bear in mind that the proprietor has lost due to your leaving. only God knows why things happen that way

Accomodation is expensive in lag mainly because of agreement ,comission n other charges they attach to it.

As it is a nursery/primary school, for d test, u should expect:

1.Written test: maths, English, verbal and Quantitative. Ugo C. Ugo comes in handy. Also, current affairs.




2. Micro teaching

3. Oral Interview.

On the salary issue, u'll have to do a personal FBI sting:

Do a visual analysis of d school WRT d structures on ground. That should give u a clue of what salary range 2 demand.

Option 2:

On or b4 d D-day, arrive d school earlier than d scheduled time and hang around; start up a friendly and "innocent" conversation with any one or 2 good-natured staffs (teaching/non- teaching). Along d line, they'll either spill d beans or give u a clue......



Option 3:
Quote a relatively high figure/range and they'll beat it down 2 an amount they can pay.
Caveat: the third one can be chosen if:
(i) You know in ur church mind dt u are a guru in d subject and u have no competition.
It will be suicidal to chose ds option if u are one amongst equals

[ii] If d subject u applied 4 is highly specialized. Eg spanish, Portuguese, music etc. Remember d law of demand and supply.

1. Letter of apology:
Write her one, apologizing 4 ur unprofessional behavior. Truth be told, if efri tchr abandon duty like dt, school no go scatter?
She has/had 2 punish u 1 way or d oda 2 serv as a deterant! If not ur action go lay bad precedence........ d fact dt u've not played truant 4 4 mnth is no excuse.
Write d letter, accept sincere responsibility 4 ur action and, who knows, she may reconsider her stance.

2. Leff-am 4 God:
Whatever 1 sows, one Must certainly reap. In as much as u've worked, u will get payed one way or d others it's not compulsory it has to be from her. It can be from anoda source, but know 4 a certainty dt ur efforts will be compensated by (laws of) nature!

3. Go to court:
If u feel u can handle d it, why not go 2 court!
Hian, but wait o, is ds course of action financially wise 4 u to endeavor? What abt d time? It's common knowledge dt d wheel of justice grinds slowly in our clime. 10 yrs from now ur case still dey court, on top how much sef!

Since u have breached d terms of contract, I doubt u'll win d case.
